Great watch for swimming.

I love this watch. I got the 40mm. I run with it, swim with it and play water polo with it. When you put it in swim mode, it protects certain components of the watch. When you end swim mode, it forcibly ejects any water in the watch.

This is my 4th galaxy watch. Basically i love it BUT the battery life is only 2 days. I like monitoring my sleep, blood sugar and medications. If onky the battery could be improved!

One HUGE flaw

A factory reset every time the battery dies?!? The watch works well, as a whole, but don't EVER let the battery die, or it will complain that it lost connection with your phone. You'd think this may involve just a simple re-pairing, but...no. You factory reset your watch, and then spend the next 4 hours trying to get it reconnected to your phone. This will be the last Samsung product I purchase.

The Watch7 battery can last for several days before needing to be placed on the charger, depending on your settings and how you use your device. If you're experiencing less than expected battery life on your device, please take a moment to review, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to learn what factors may be impacting the life of your Watch7 battery. Apps you download and install onto the watch can cause the watch to get stuck in a boot loop or not boot past the logo screen. Rebooting it should fix the problem, but you will need to uninstall any apps that were installed before the issue occurred. If the watch is connected to a phone, you must clear the data for the Galaxy Wearable app. If the problem continues, inspect the watch and charger for damage, and factory reset the watch. Charging is difficult, looks nice though

I bought this to replace a gear s3 frontier which finally had battery failure. Wish it had been more up front about charging limitations. Can't charge from my phone which makes using it on trips pointless. Plus the charging cable is fixed and too short to reach my table. Also can't use my existing charger because it is usb A and the cable is usb C. At this point I might replace the battery in my old watch and use it instead. This new one is too much of a hassle.
