Down grade from the watch active, the changes to sleep mode and power saving should get someone fired. Why does the sleep mode not block all notifications, any watch notifications like low battery just ignores sleep mode and buzzes anyway. What is the point of power saving turning off gesture turn on when it gives you a notification every time anyway that you can't use gestures and why does that notification show up every time. Whatever battery you saved from gestures is wasted on non stop notifications that you can only clear instead of turn off. Build quality and screen are good.

With the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, you can Go for up to 40 hours with its longer-lasting battery. Then, get your battery back to 45% in just 30 minutes. We hate to see that you've experienced a shortened battery life on your watch. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. You can perform a diagnostic on your watch's battery. If your watch is paired with a Samsung phone you can use Samsung Members to perform a diagnostic on your watch battery. If it passes the test, you'll know the battery is in good condition. It's also important to make sure that your apps as well as the watch itself are up to date with the latest software available. Sometimes apps may have a bug that causes them to use excessive battery, make sure all your apps are up to date for the best performance. Check out the link attached for additional options to help optimize your watch's battery life. If you only want to see notifications for a few apps on your Wear OS model, you can turn off notifications in the Galaxy Wearable app. Open the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Watch settings, and then tap Notifications. Tap App notifications, then tap the drop-down arrow and then select All to see all installed apps. To turn notifications on or off for individual apps, tap the switch next to your desired app. To turn notifications on or off for all apps, tap the switch at the top of the screen next to All Apps. I've had it a week now and have NOTHING bad to say about it. 40+ hours of battery after the first 4 days. Not sure what the 5 hr guy has but I've had great battery life. Went to Facer and after a small issue I've download many faces. Love this watch!

Function seems fabulous, finish not so much

I just received my new watch today, upgraded from the classic 4. I am already impressed with the larger display without the watch appearing to take up much more space on my relatively small wrist. So far, navigation between menus and tiles seems very quick and I am exciting about some of the new sleep tracking features. The USB-C charger is a nice upgrade and recharging seems much faster (only partially necessary after I spent a couple hours playing with the watch and settings). My one shortcoming at this point, I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the matte stainless steel finish on the side rather than the more polished finish throughout like it was on the 4. I like my watch functional, but I also to be able to put on a nice band and have it look more upscale for nicer events. It will be harder to achieve this look with this matte stainless steel finish. Please bring back the polished look for future models!

Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is one of the best-looking smartwatches I’ve worn for a while too. When I first used the smartwatch, I fell for the version with the black case and black strap. It’s classy, modern, and very watch-like.Samsung has nailed the “real” watch look with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.the only thing I found with this was the watch band was extremely difficult to remove and replace so I had to replace it with a different watch band.you have really short nails you're not going to be able to remove or replace this band easly extremely difficult

WOULD BUY AGAIN

I pre-order the galaxy watch and have been using it for a few weeks now. while it does drain the battery fairly quick . I am in love with it. I'm a huge fan of the turning bezel. I love the look and feel of it. Do look at the size of your wrist because it is on the large side.

Don't upgrade if you have Galaxy Watch 5 Plus

I sent in my Watch 5 Plus for Galaxy Watch 6 classic 43mm. I should have kept Watch 5. Beyond bezel there is not that much new. I can hardly tell what is new. Auto detect cycling is back and that is good. Sleep coach interesting for a few days. And Watch 5 battery would last nearly three days with active usage. 6 Classic hardly can last 24 hours. Big disappointment. Almost same size watch, and terrible battery. I am just glad I did pay full price wit trade in. But I miss my Galaxy Watch 5 Plus!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
