Pretty good phone! I switched to this phone S24 Ultra from my S23 Ultra and the impression exceeded my expectations. First, the application to move everything from the old to the new phone grew up comparing to the previous version couple years ago, the whole migration was nice and smooth with pretty rare exceptions like entering a password to some store apps, etc. All accounts and most of the data was copied pretty correctly. The very big surprise is the speaker, fantastic quality! I know that the phone is water protected, but don't want to test, honestly ;) The buttons are slightly off the previous position in S23 Ultra, so I had to purchase another case, but that's fine since it has a much better functionality. The CPU is visibly faster, than S23 Ultra, which is a plus. The OS has more useful features, than in S23U. Yes, I'd strongly recommend this phone to my friends, no doubt!
I miss the days when a premium phone came with a premium feel. Cameras and processors have gotten more impressive; everything else has gotten worse. Oh, and you think paying nearly 2k for a phone means we'll be good enough to throw a five dollar charger in the box? We've got news for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Picture post processing is the worst thing Samsung has ever done. IT RUINS EVERY PICTURE. S23 ultra had better results taking pictures without that forced post processing. Set it to Minimum is still too much, there should be an option to turn it off COMPLETELY. Pictures are a form of art. They should not be changed by force in an unreversible way, they should just reflect what the photographer is aiming at unless, the photographer wants the AI collaboration. Moon pictures taken with the S23 ultra a year ago were astonishing. Use that as a time reference for your algorithms for a time when it was really good and update S24 software to mimic that before the post processing forced intrusion to alter every single high definition picture colors and textures.

Hi Oonn. It's great to hear from you. It looks like you reached out to share your thoughts about the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera is the first Galaxy smartphone to come equipped with the Quad Tele system. With the Quad Tele system, users can take clearer, crisper photos in the optical zoom range they typically use. We see that you reached out to voice your concerns about the post-processing of pictures you've taken. The good news is that you can disable this. If you choose, you are able to disable or only allow on-device processing for the AI features. There is also a "master switch" to disable all cloud-based processing for the Galaxy AI features. Settings->Advanced Features->Galaxy AI. If you have any further concerns or need help with anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
