Decent, but do not outperform AirPods Pro

Note: I'm coming from Airpods Pro, so that's my baseline for comparison. Airpods were solid, so maybe my warm, fuzzy feelings for them have colored my experience with these new earbuds.
PROS:
- Sound quality is really good. I recommend changing EQ to Dynamic versus standard setting.
- I really like the 360 mode and use it frequently for videos.
- Fit is good and they are comfortable. They don't work out of my ears when I'm talking like the Airpods did.
- Noise cancellation is good and I'd say on par with Airpods. I bought some foam tips to use which improve the passive noise cancellation even more.
- The pause when you talk feature is pretty cool. Not good for all situations, but it's nice to have the option.
- Double tap on earlobe to turn up and down is a nice feature.
- The case is high quality and I like it more than the Airpods case. The wireless charging capability with a standard (non MagSafe) charger is great, no issues with having to precisely position it in order to charge. Though, see petty complaint about case below.

CONS:
-Tap controls are so much worse than force controls. Any time you need to reposition one of these in your ear, you'll end up pausing or turning on transparency mode. Super annoying. Sure, you can turn off tap feature, but that's also a pain if you want onboard control for changing tracks.
- I wish you could specify what different tap controls do (like change play/pause to double or triple tap to avoid the issue of activating this anytime you touch an earbud). You can only turn them on or off, but you're forced to use the built-in commands.
- Transparency mode is way inferior to Airpods. If you need something with good transparency (like for mild amplification), these aren't it. The sound quality is weird, artificial, and echoey. Another thing that's annoying is that when you're walking with transparency on you can hear movement of air across the mics because of where they're positioned.
- One of the buds developed crackling distortion after 1 day. This resolved after putting it in the case, but it's still concerning.
- I don't think voice commands work directly with the buds, the mic on your phone is required. Maybe there's a setting I can change, but why wouldn't that be standard?
- Skin oils from your ear are very visible on the black buds, unlike the glossy white of Airpods which hides this.
- Petty complaint re: case. All four sides are the same, so it's hard to know just by feeling which side you open. So every time it takes me longer than it should to open the darn case.

All in all they are nice to use with Samsung devices. They also switch easily to Windows computers. I like them, despite the cons. Coming from AirpodsPro to these is tough because it feels like a step down in some ways. Even still, they fit in the ears well and have a nice sound quality. I probably would have fewer complaints if they were cheaper. If you're not coming from AirpodsPro I bet you'll like these. If you don't have a Samsung, you'll probably find something for cheaper.

Amazing Perfomance But Control is a bit funky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a while before I figured out that I needed to use the bigger tips that came in the box so that the concealment is good. After that, it was a at least a 10-20% better noise cancelling performance than my gen 1 airpods pro; but sound quality is at least 30% better - bass is better, sound feels more substantial.
The charge lasts longer too.
Only issue is the funky touch control. There is quite often accidental touch when taking off my shirt for example. I have had this for 3 months, and I still find it not that convenient.
But overall great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The first thing that I will ask is "where have you been all my life?" I purchased a pair of Buds pro 2 and picked them up yesterday, but first, let me give you a little background. I have been listening to music my entire life being weened on Motown, graduating to Funk, and in the late 70s I have been an avid heavy metal fan. I am not talking a casual listener. Last year alone I logged 19, 063 scrobbles on Last.fm. So you can imagine that I have used dozens of headphones over the years and enjoyed the music that I am so passionate about which would eventually led me to this purchase.
I was hoping for better sound quality but was not holding my breath, getting my hopes too high. As it turns out, I never expected the quality of sound that the Buds Pro 2 put out and was blown away by the initial experience. With these earbuds you have the option to listen to whatever medium that you might want to listen to in 360 mode. As soon as I turned this on I was instantly immersed in the music with a sound quality that I personally never experienced, but then came 360 mode with head tracking and that was truly a dimension of music listening that I did not think possible. It is difficult to describe, but when you turn your head the vocals or other instruments would move with your head giving the sensation of not just listening to the music but becoming part of it as well. Whether this type of technology has been around for a while or not it was extremely new to me and a wonderful experience at that. I have seen unsatisfactory reviews and I understand that we each experience things differently and are entitled to our own opinions, but these were worth every penny and them some once added to my various listening devices that instantly catapulted themselves to the top of the best list.

Were great till today.

I've loved these for the last two months since I've gotten them. However today while wasing my truck listening to a podcast I adjusted one with wet hands and it started squeeling and quit working. They are supposed to be submersible for 30 minutes at 3 feet but wet hands adjusting it seems to have broken it. Hopefully samsung will warranty it because I have really loved them but if they are that sensitive to moisture they won't work. We will see when I call tomorrow.

Overall very nice buds, but don't like to stay put

Very nice ear buds! Sound amazing, but easy to touch and pause music. The stock ear pieces don't like to stay put when you start getting hot. Going to look into foam noise blocking ear pieces. The noise cancelling feature is absolutely amazing, call quality is amazing. Over all very happy with the purchase, and quality of music the buds can play

Picked a pair up today, so far impressed,worried ill lose the tiny little charging case. sound is immersive and impressive, wish the bass was a little deeper but for a in ear bud is pretty good.
