Painful reaction

They are damaging my ears. I can't wear them for more than an hour and my ears begin to hurt. I feel as if my ear canal is swelling. I had to go about 2 weeks taking ibuprofen to reduce the swelling. I tried to wear them a second time only to have the same reaction.
Please help!

They work great if you don't mind the ear infection. Seriously Samsung, I am waist deep in your eco system, laptops, phones, watches, but I can't use the ear buds because of the inevitable puss that drips from my ears. Change the materials!

I finally purchased the Buds Pro 2. I've owned multiple Buds in the past, Buds Live being my favorite, & Samsung continues to be the leader in innovation. Buds Pro2 are lightweight, finally waterproof, fit perfect in ear and sound great! Seamless connectivity to my Samsung Neo TV & my S22 Ultra 5G.alactus. My only dislike is I wish they offered more colors. it would be cool to have a red pair. I also like that the graphite color is a matte finish instead of glossy. Cant wait to see the 2023 lineup! #GALAXYGANG #TEAMSAMSUNG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been an Apple user for over a decade. I recently got a Fold 4 and got these Buds2 Pro to complement my new foldable phone. Within the Apple ecosystem, I have Airpods Pro and that's what I will be comparing them against.
Now I know everyone's ear is different. But Galaxy Buds fit much better than the airpods. See with the Apple set, they would eventually become loose after an hour or so with my head moving around. I purcahsed those foam tips, but they didnt solve the problem. Now that's not the case with the galaxy buds. They fit much more secure. I can't emphasize how important this is.
Samsung's offering also comes in different colors (the one I have is grafite), and honestly, they look better. I got tired of the one and only white color option, and skinning them just makes it worse.
Sound quality and noise cancellation performance is very comparable. They both sound good, however on noise cancellation samsung has a slight edge. You know that feeling of pressure when music is off and the noise cancellation is on? That's much less with the samsung set.
I know people don't usually compare these two since they're made for different ecosystems. But Apple has been my base line and figuring out the differences are what is making me switch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great audio in a terrible case

Bought this at the end of September. Upgraded from an older Bud. As of this review, I've had these Buds2 Pro for about 3.5 months.
I love the convenience of charging in the case and the Ambient Sound monitor. I have other ear buds that don't offer Ambient Sound. I prefer the ability to monitor ambient sound for safety. The audio quality on the Buds2 Pro are great with nice highs and deep bass. I've gone running with them. Occasionally, I will need to twist them on a little bit to keep a nice snug fit.
The case is a different story. Samsung uses some matte plastic that has a rubbery feel to it. The plastic coating on the top half of the case is different from the bottom half and has start to degrade. It has started to become tacky and sticky like some old rubbery plastic that been around for years. The bottom half still feels matte and smooth like it was when new.
Wished they didn't use this awful material. 3.5 months of use and the case feel horrible and looks horrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
