Cool but could improve

The lights are pretty cool if you stick with the standard scenes in the app. If you create your own diy options then the colors change on their own randomly (ie warm white might change to yellow or orange). They seem to change back to your diy color selection if you reopen the app in proximity to the lights, but change again if you walk away for an extended time. The ground stakes on the bottom need to be longer. I had to use landscape fabric stakes to hold them in place.

This is the first version of the ground lights. They are good lights. They are bright and has lots of scenes to chose from that Govee has built into their app. To be safe I would put the control button inside a water proof box.

I was reading alot of reviews for ground lights 2 about them not being as waterproof as they should be so I bought these. They look nice, however this is the only Govee product I have bought that I wish was brighter. I used them to line a landscaping bed in front of my house. I found the lights kept popping off the stakes and the stakes weren’t long enough to use with landscaping gravel. I didn’t use the landscaping stakes at all and just used the landscaping gravel on the wires to hold the lights in place. I think eventually I will replace these with the ground lights 2 as they have longer stakes and our brighter.

These are small but bright and the colors are great. They match well with my Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights. The spikes are long enough to hold the small pucks in place but if you have deep mulch you might have to sink a small piece of PVC or something to give the spikes something to hold onto.
