Not water tight

I have a set of the original ground lights which are great. I purchased the ground lights 2 and am already in my 2nd set.
The first thing I noticed is there are LESS lights than the original and they are set further apart.
Certain colors are also not as accurate as the original colors, especially if the lights are set to a lower brightness.
Another major issue is the lights are NOT water tight. My first lights couldn't handle Florida rain. A handful of the had water intrusion and eventually screwed up the lights. I exchanged them for another set and again, the lights have water and condensation in them. It's just a matter of time before they die too.
If you create a DIY and have the colors switch too quickly, they will not show the accurate color.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lights for my yard when I ran across these Govee Outdoor Ground lights. I have quite a bit of Philps Hue lights in my home- but they were just to expensive for their outside products.
These are a great replacement and a much more affordable price point. The app is a little difficult; it took a while to learn and understand. BUT!!!!! These Govee light are MUCH MORE customizable.
I agree the ground anchoring spikes took a bit to learn and are short- but do the job sufficiently.
Totally worth the money.

2nd gen downgrade

I love everything govee. The ground lights ver 1 had the lights closer together. Gave them a better look than version 2 in my opinion. I'm sure product version 2 is a better version but that gap between lights at night looks better closer together, again in my opinion.

We bought these to use as sidewalk lights for Halloween and Christmas. I like the options for the colors and effects and the customization from the app. What I don’t like is I have one strand that constantly is losing connection. When this happens I have to go back into the app and reconnect the device and resync the two strands back to my chosen effect. The effected strand is actually closer to my house and should be getting better WiFi connection. Probably won’t buy any more products due to the connection issues

It makes no sense that the adapter attached to outdoor lights is not waterproof. Please help me to understand the logic behind this design. The lights are beautiful & fairly easy to install but the adapter should be compatible with outdoor use.

Without a doubt my favorite holiday lights! Versatile and Beautiful. Ground lights and Govee RGBIC Warm White Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Smart Outdoor String Lights are depicted in my photos. Only one negative feedback Govee does not have replacement stakes (sometimes you need to replace them if they get lost, break, or fall off ).

Love the lights!

I do love the lights and how bright they are I wish I would have known the length of the cord was counted in total length because of that I ordered the wrong size which unfortunately you can see from the road grrr. The lights are amazing I have two sets of the ground lights ( which are to short ) and the permanent outdoor lights. I would highly recommend all of these however beware of the size especially the ground lights. I really wish I would have bought the longer sets the only reason for giving four stars is the length versus what I was expecting. So basically there's about 10 ft of cord actually probably closer to 12 ft accord that is unusable just be prepared
