I recently purchased the Apple Airpods Max's from Apple and all I can say is amazing the noise cancelling is great and the sound is Crisp and not distorted. If you're looking for a great pair of quality headphones then these are it. and with a 20 hr battery life, you can't go wrong.

DO NOT BUY

These have a fatal flaw, which is that they produce and collect condensation like crazy. I love the comfort and the sound, but I’ve already had to get one replacement and I am pretty confident the replacement will break shortly. I want to love these headphones so badly but I feel totally ripped off. For $800 with tax, they should last a lot longer than a few months. Stay away from these headphones until Apple addresses the condensation issue. And no, it’s not normal as some suggest. I have beats studio 3s that do not collect condensation that have worked fine for years.

Best Wireless Listening Device.

Sound quality: The AirPods Max has exceptional sound quality before accounting that it’s wireless. Lows are powerful with mids and highs being accurate. The overall sound is clear and dynamic. Instrument separation also achieves top marks.
Wireless Codec: The AirPods Max utilizes Apple’s in-house audio codec AAC via BT 5.0. The wireless connect is stable and instantaneous. The audio is high resolution without any stutters.
Construction and feel: Despite the weight of these headphones, the AirPods are comfortable and can be worn for hours. The headband system works and feels extravagant period. The ear cups have an acoustic seal and have top class quality. The headphone is primarily built of stainless steal and aluminum with the rest being mesh. Everything from the AirPods Max film is present and everything said feels understated. 10/10 for construction.
Overall: The best wireless headphones money can buy period.

Stay away from these headphones!

After almost a year with these headphones I can safely say that they are the worst headphones that I have ever purchased. I say this because at this point these headphones are constantly plagued with issues. The headphones frequently will just stop working all together (when there is still battery left) and then not accept a charge at all. It takes an incredibly long time of fiddling with the headphones to have them start working again. It can be hours or days that it takes with leaving them plugged in and troubleshooting sporadically for them to suddenly start working again. The fact that you cannot turn these headphones off is a feature that just seems absurd to me. Other headphones that I've had (that were cheaper) had a battery life that would last much longer because you can simply turn them off. You have to put them in a silly case for the battery to be preserved at all. Who thought that putting in them in a case every time was easier than simply hitting an off button? For the price, these headphones should be nearly perfect, and they are far from it. STAY AWAY

I love these headphones. The only problem I have had is that they lose batter when you are not even using them. Other then that everything else is perfect. The sounds is loud and the noise cancelation is amazing. Can’t hear anything besides the music. They do tend to slide off of my head a little bit but that isn’t a big deal.

As an IT specialist and audiophile I am always curious about new cans. Used them for 40 years now. Seen all the gimmicks, bass boost, Bluetooth (which delivers the poorest audio possible as it's limitations of sample rate and low bitrate), wired, wireless with base station, over ear, premium headphones, sub 100$ gems that outperform ear muffins 3-4x the cost.
What amazes me is that people who are limited to the ecosystem contribute to these reviews like some kind of cult!
The connection issues, lack of power button, combined with that classic take all the ports and features away apple move making it impossible to use the phones with high quality 24bit 96khz premium audio when Bluetooth just won't do that. It down samples your music, and then recolors it to make it sound to your ears that what has been taken away isn't missing. But any audio engineer knows you can't put back what isn't there.
Past that part, when real life work like recording over a PowerPoint presentation didn't work with these, and one has to revert back to your included mic and speakers? What? Seriously? The built in things on your MacBook pro or air perform better for capturing voice overs. Truly an overpriced cult object.that people want to show off to indicate they believe they are better than everyone else around them as a certified delusional cult member.
No matter how many times they aren't able to connect or how many times their MacBook didn't update they stay in the ecosystem because they have to. It's engineered that way. Why people pay 8x the price of a decent 100$ is beyond me. There is no sound improvement from a sub 100$ wired set of decent Panasonic's Sennheiser Shure audio Technica Bose or sony headphones. When you get into Jabra and Poly offerings for half the price in the premium 300-400$ range Canadian any business teams certified headset absolutely destroy the connectivity, features, audio quality, battery life, included tuning software.that measures your hearing and where your ears have frewuency dips they can actually adjust to each of your ears. The Jabra app actually gives you a hearing test to improve how the phones are suited to your ears at half the price. Plus they can connect to multiple devices at once and they pair seamlessly with android apple PC and anything you connect them to. The lack of metal and premium materials on an over 500$ header ive never seen such cheap design with profit and breakability in mine. No leather. No metal. No organic materials. Just recycled plastic and oil products for 800$. So much hype. Save yourself the dough. Get some Plantronics voyagers, Jabra evolve 2 75, Bose noise cancelling headset, or if you want premium audiophile sound. Start looking at Shure, audio Technica or.sennheiser headphones that have a flat response. Then you're going to hear all the stuff that's missing from these cans.
Big. Ugly. Useless. Falls off. Horrible fake sound, doesn't connect. Great deal for what many people struggle to make in an entire week. If you want to flaunt that incredible design to the masses...you've been warned.
