I did a lot of research and spend a lot of time looking at videos and reading reviews before making my purchase. The screen and operating system are great. I wanted a clean looking setup with no wires or cables showing when looking at the TV, However I have several issues with the back of the TV as follows: 1) The stands only fit on the ends, I would have preferred a center stand (pedestal) that would have given the TV a better appearance when setting the TV on a cabinet. 2) Cable Management, the inputs are to close to the edge. I had to bend the HDMI cables as much as possible and still couldn’t install the back cover.

I bought this TV about a year and a half ago. The speakers for the TV stopped working all of a sudden. Sony tried troubleshooting but could not fix it. I now have to pay a 3rd party service to try and fix the audio because the warranty only covers 1 year. I have seen reddit posts with a lot of people having this exact same issue. I would not recommend buying this TV at all. It is one of the most expensive TVs that you can buy. There are A LOT of other options at a much lower price point that offer the same quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had Sony A9G TVs which were great and I always wondered how any TV could be better. I've replaced my Living Room A9G with the a 95L just blown away. Regular standard definition TV looks brighter and somewhat better but 4K HDR stuff is just so phenomenal I sit here and drool. I've never seen a TV that can look this good.

I bought the TV about a month ago and simple love it. Even though I plan on getting the Sony HT A7000 sound bar, the TV comes with a pretty good sound to it out of the box.

This tv replaced a 1 year old Samsung 4k smart tv. I thought I was happy with the Samsung until I turned this bad boy on. The screen lit up like nothing I had seen before. I was always complaining that I couldn’t see what was happening because the old tv was too dark. Not any more. It’s bright as day and has amazing colors. The sound is also much much better. I used to turn the volume up to 50 or 60. Now I can hear it great at 20-30. The only downer is you only get 2 years of their Bravia channels or pay a subscription to continue viewing it. Samsung tv channels was included with no subscription Other than that I love this TV

There’s no question this TV had excellent picture quality. A good stand design compared to the previous generation. Very good picture customization menu. I wish Sony will publish documentation on what each settings functionality is. The reason why I gave it 2 stars is, it’s unforgivable that as of this current generation of Hybrid OLED TV, Sony will only give us two HDMI 2.1 ports and a non Gigabit Ethernet port (100Mbps).

I am very happy I bought my 65" A95L. I worked in imaging, professionally all my life. I am 82 years old. I still have my 2005 Sony Bravia. Why would I try a different brand? Yes, I studied the A95L Specs. The extra cost worth every penny. A small but very pleasant surprise was the SU-855 Wall Mount. Fabulous. You have to have one to appreciate it.
