Hi Cristina10, congratulations on your new upgrade! We are thrilled to hear your enjoying the excellent picture quality and features of the Sony - A95L. The Cognitive Processor XR integrated in this TV, delivers a picture with wide dynamic contrast and natural colors, replicating how we see the real world. We really thank you for choosing and enjoy your viewing experience! Regards, -Dominick
First couple hours the tv was stuck in demo mode and it resets the settings every 5 mins. Remote controler failed to update so the TV pops up an alert every 2 secs to update just so it can fail again. Most devices work fine on my old 2016 Sony, all have major issues working with the new tv. Best thing about it is that you can use Bluetooth and even that is buggy. 4k isn't amazing, its problematic and most stuff looks worse in 4k then 3D or even Blueray.

Sound stopped working less than a year from buying

Bought this tv one year ago. I loved the tv until the sound abruptly stopped working. Sony was good about repairing it but I had to remove the tv from the wall and then put it back up after it's repaired. The repairman doesn't remove from the wall or put it back up.

Hi Radl,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are genuinely pleased to hear that you have loved the performance of your BRAVIA A95L over the past year, as we take great pride in the quality and immersive experience our flagship displays provide. However, we sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the sound issue and the logistical challenges you faced during the repair process.
Your feedback regarding the requirement to unmount and reinstall the television yourself is incredibly important to us. Hearing directly from our customers about these points is exactly how we identify areas where our service can be improved to better match the premium quality of our products. We understand that handling a high-end display is a significant task, and we want our support process to be as seamless as the technology itself.
We are glad that your TV is now repaired, and we truly appreciate your patience.
This TV is by far the best tv I ever owned. Been a Sony customer for a long time and the A95L is just an amazing tv. Picture is unreal right out of the box. Sound is incredible really don’t need a sound bar.

Premium price for old technology

BRAVIA XR A95L launched in 2023 for the 77-inch model. It’s now several model cycles behind the latest QD-OLED advancements. But the latest price of five grand would lead during the latest holiday sale would lead you to believe it’s still at the top of its game. By contrast, Sony’s A95L tops out at 120Hz and 1,500 nits peak brightness and doesn’t match the 2,000+ nits or anti-reflective handling of newer Samsung panels. For PC and competitive console gamers, that’s not a minor difference — it’s decisive. Sony recently announced that it sold off its TV and home entertainment hardware business to China’s TCL is a game changer. It leaves buyers with a question about the future of the Bravia brand. If I’m going to spend this kind of money on a new screen it will be on the latest and greatest technology - I’m not paying a premium for old technology with a questionable future…

Hi Mcgillz,
Thank you for your detailed feedback regarding the BRAVIA A95L and our current pricing. We truly appreciate the perspective of a customer who follows display technology so closely; insights like yours regarding peak brightness and gaming performance are essential for us to hear.
We also want to clarify the recent news regarding our partnership with TCL. Sony has not sold its TV and Home Entertainment business. Rather, Sony and TCL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a joint venture. Under this agreement, Sony remains a 49% owner and will continue to lead the development, design, and proprietary technologies that define the BRAVIA experience. This strategic move is designed to combine Sony’s engineering excellence with TCL’s manufacturing scale to ensure the BRAVIA brand remains a leader in the premium market for years to come.
We value your loyalty and hope this provides more clarity on our commitment to the future of Sony Home Entertainment.
Thank you for considering Sony products!
Best regards, Dominick

TV Speaker is not working after only 1 year. This is a very high end TV, shouldnt happen. Then they do not have any authorized service providers almost anywhere, and left to figure out who can even solve this problem. Staying away from Sony product and service
