The wait was worth it. I was upsizing and upgrading. I have always been a Sony fan since the days of tube Trinitons. There was some minor initial setup. The Google TV interface takes some getting used to. Sound is amazing with the TV alone and with an original Sonos Beam. The picture with a good 4k source is amazing. Jet black blacks and very pleasing skin tones. Simply wow. Quickly you realize it time to upgrade to higher def streaming services.
I’ve had Sony’s for 50 years and have only had great experiences.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The TV still has a few bugs that need to be worked out. I’m still having an issue with Dolby Vision working with my Apple TV connected through my Marantz receiver.( this seems to be a known issue with multiple brands of receivers) I have to constantly switch HDMI settings depending on whether I’m playing my PS5 or watching Apple TV. There was an older issue with Dolby Vision not working externally at all but the was addressed in the last update. Im also waiting for the MultiView feature to become functional in a future update. Although I really believe this is Sony’s best TV ever released, it does have a whole lot of bugs and unfinished features. I wish they would have taken time to fix all of this before releasing it.

the A95L has a great overall look, slick TV that looks great on your TV stand. The picture is what you expect from a Sony. The sound quality from the A95L is what really surprised me. I am upgrading from a XBR75X940C. The 940C has independent speakers down the side which adds a lot of weight and bulkiness to the TV. The A95L has none of this but sounds awesome. Add the camera and the sound positioning does a good job of keeping the audio and sound working well without a sound bar or surround system.
I enjoy using the new Google TV menu system. Its responsive and loads apps quickly.

The Sony Bravia is an excellent QD OLED TV. Movies using Dolby Vision are bright and clean with excellent color saturation, contrast and black levels. Main selling points over LG and Samsung is sound quality out of the built-in speakers and the simple but very usable remote: has backlighting and controls my Apple TV in addition to the Bravia. The ambient mode is also a nice feature to show photos or artwork when not watching TV or movies.

I have the A95K in 55", I totally love everything about it, so naturally I needed the A95L in 65". And to no ones surprise, it is even better. It's thinner, lighter, and the speaker design using the screen itself, the sound is excellent and deep and clear. The picture is amazing, deep blacks and vibrant colors, super sharp. Do yourself a favor, get a Sony, Master Series or not, you won't regret it, it's like the difference between analog and HD TV's.

I first purchased the Samsung S95C but later returned for the Sony A95L because of all the reviews that said it was the TV of the year. Overall I like the Sony better. I like the backlit remote that feels premium over the Samsung, I like the Google TV miles above Tizen, Sony has more options, Sony is easier to navigate, and their processing is better. As far as the vibrance and wow factor of the picture goes I can’t say that it is above the S95C. I feel like that’s always been Samsungs strong point - eye popping colors, whereas the Sony looks more natural. I have been a life long Sony guy and at the end of the day I always lean towards them although I have owned a few Samsungs. One up an coming TV that both of these companies neeed to watch out for is the TCL. I bought a budget TCL Google TV and for the money I paid I don’t think you can beat it. You can get an extremely good TCL for half the price of Sony.
