Horrible functionality and design

I bought these to replace/upgrade from a prior model, mainly due to waining battery life of my older jbls. These seemed like a basic and logical next step, as I rather enjoy jbl products.
Upon receiving, I immediately noticed they changed the shape of the piece that rests inside the ear canal from circular to oval, so there’s never a sound proof seal or snug fit, regardless of earpeice attachment, they loosely just kind of dangle. Also, this piece is now designed so shallow, these are constantly falling out or just letting in all the noise outside. This completely defeats the purpose of the earbuds, and renders to sound utterly garbage. Not to mention there’s also white noise feature? To add to all the sound and mess that isnt music or an audio book. I bought these headphones block out sound and listen to things, now they not only let tons of outside noise in and fall out, but they let in background sounds and produce their own, as well? Who designed these? I avoid apple’s pods because that functionality really seems counter productive to the point of headphones. Now jbl has caught that trend and is just as worthless.
A cheap random pair from some dollar store will have the same sound and anti-user friendly design, so save your money
These are a really bad, bad product.

To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. Also, our JBL Tune Buds has an active noise cancelling feature. To switch from our ambient aware feature to our active noise cancelling feature, tap your left earbud once. Don’t go there

These buds will not stay in my ears, even when sitting still! Even after trying all 3 sizes of pads. The directions are very unclear on how to utilize the tap function and the few times I used them, the people on the call complained of background noises being painfully loud. Good news—I received a full refund

Honestly I’m a little bias I love all jbl products! My only issue is that when I get sweaty they tend to fall out but I think that’s any ear bud without the little hook to sit around your ear so, they’re perfect!

Started off great

I have had these for a little over a year now. They have been great up until a couple months ago when the sound started dropping out of the left bud. Now they both lose partial sound, or have a crackling sound ever time I put them in. I only use them to workout, 1 hour, 4 days a week.

Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help. Bluetooth will perform well for up to 30 feet. However, walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede that 30-foot range. If it works well at 10 feet or less, it is likely that something is interfering with your wireless Bluetooth signal, causing these dropouts. First, forget/unpair the headphones on your device, then perform manual pairing. Next, try to connect the headphones to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. Last is reset, with both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet to pair them again. If the issue remains, please contact us.

I am happy with the sound quality, controls and tuning options. The only problem is that the earplug gets loose too quickly so I need to adjust it frequently. This is a problem if I have the hands busy, like during working out. I tried the 3 different plug sizes

hard buds to keep in

Don’t charge correctly

These worked great for about six months. Then they stopped charging and just remain on when in the case, constantly connecting to my phone when I don’t want them to. Followed the instructions for cleaning them to get charging to work again (clearly this is a known issue for this model), and at first they would work again for about a week but now some charge even right after cleaning. Totally worthless 7 months into using.

These pins are sensitive to dust. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back on the case. If the issue still persists, please contact our customer support.
