Echoing another reviewer who remarked that it really is impressive to create a pair of earbuds so poor that they motivate someone to actually go and leave a bad review. In addition to sizing complaints, these earbuds also seem to have a lot of trouble pairing consistently — like every third time — perhaps this has to do with the very large touch controls that it’s impossible to avoid touching when you’re trying to keep the things in your ears. Continue reading below to see JBL indicate that they actually fit perfectly and are quite comfortable.

Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Tune Buds. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, please use other ear tip sizes, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. If connection issue remains, please make sure that there are no other wireless devices that may cause Bluetooth interruption. Then, try refresh pairing by unpairing your unit. Reboot your source device, then pair it again. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

Falls out of ear instantly

I had high hopes for the JBL Tune Buds, but instantly, the buds kept falling out of my ear. I tried all of the different adjustable silicone ear sizes but nothing worked well. I bought these to use on my job sites, but almost lost them multiple times. As soon as I would move my head or even look down, they would fall out. The magnet on the lid of the charging case is also super weak. Pops open with the slightest movement. Another good way to lose your buds.

Incredible Sound, Perfect Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tune Buds earbuds are a terrific combination of size and quality, combining a comfortably-engineered product that delivers tremendous value at a reasonable price point.
Right out of the box, these earbuds were fast to connect and fun to use. My phone automatically located the bluetooth signal and prompted the pairing. Once connected, these stood up on a variety of fronts: listening to music in the car, all-day work capacity, and staying perfectly in-place during a round of golf. The bass was low and smooth without the dull "thump" often heard when the volume is turned up. Treble held well across the spectrum of music and voices on calls were crystal clear, even outside and in the wind.
Two other outstanding features were the multi-device capability and the app customization available via the JBL Headphones application. Being able to seamlessly bounce between a work computer and personal phone was a real joy and alleviated the need to keep two sets of earbuds for different devices. The customization within the app was brilliant in fine-tuning the sound and features to the user's specifications.
Overall, this is a great product from JBL. Finding the right pair of earbuds at the right price often takes trial and error, but these delivered in every major category. Highly recommend for anyone looking for all-day comfort without breaking the bank.

Love these headphones!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall i am extremely pleased and impressed with these earbuds! The sound quality when listening to music is amazing and has the perfect amount of bass. Even for phone calls the audio is extremely crisp and clear! The tap features on the buds are extremely responsive which i have noticed being a problem with some other buds i have previously owned. Lastly, these buds are insanely comfortable and the extra sizes to find the right one for you is a major plus

Outstanding bass & noise cancelling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason I agreed to review these earbuds is because I wanted to try something new. My current earbuds have a limited amount of battery power. Only four and a half hours of maximum playtime. Which is not enough for me. With these coming in at 10 hours maximum playtime, I was happy to try them out.
Right out of the box, both earbuds were 100% charged and the case was 80% charged.
Inside the box was the two earbuds, charging case, short usb-c charging cord (no power adapter), an additional set of small, medium and large size ear tips, & a quick start guide.
Initially I connected the earbuds by way of going to my settings, then Bluetooth, then by pressing the connect button I was able to pair them instantly.
After that I installed the JBL app by way of the QR code inside the quick start guide. Then I opened the app and since I’d already connected them previously they were already displayed and connected.
The app has a multitude of different settings that outperform all others I have used. You can easily open the app and change the settings to your liking.
Within the app there is ambient sound control. Which is where you can activate noise canceling, ambient aware & talk thru. I found the best sound came when I had the active noise cancelling activated.
These buds advertise as having “pure bass” and “zero noise”. The bass on them is superior and the zero noise feature (active noise canceling) is on point.
As far as touch controls on the earbuds it’s the typical standard of one tap for play pause, two taps for fast forward, three taps for rewind. Double tap to answer or hang up an incoming call. And long press for mic.
Their overall fit was secure and each went easily into each ear with the original tip.
My expectation for these earbuds was average based on their price point. Their sound quality and noise cancelling exceeded my expectations.
However, I do have two complaints. I don’t like that they don’t automatically stop functioning when I pull them out of my ear. It has to be done manually.
Second, the touch control on the ear bud is activated accidentally when handling them. This was super annoying.
In the end I am fairly pleased with their overall performance. Including the extra long battery life, pure bass and active noise cancelling. Thanks JBL!

Great bass for a great value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how comfortable the earbuds are while delivering great bass that makes you feel the music. I love the ergonomic feel to the headphones and how no matter what I’m doing they stay in and won’t fall out. I personally am amazed at how long the headphones stay charged for as well.
