Minimal disney doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dolls face was cute and similar to the character. The top of the dress is part of the arms so you are not able to switch outfits which is unfortunate. The skirt is fabric which was nice quality. Overall the doll is fairly simple with minimal extra.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful Princess Merida doll. From her gorgeous curly hair to the details on her dress. My little one really enjoyed taking her on all kinds of adventures. It is very fun to have a doll and be able to watch the movie with her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the opportunity to test and review this Barbie from the Play, Rate and review program (Mattel). My 4 year LOVES the movie so was very excited for the Princess Merida doll to arrive! The doll looks just the character in the movie, with her beautiful long red hair! If your child likes Merida I highly recommend getting this Barbie!

Nice doll for younger children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children (5g, 3.5b, and 2g) like this Merida doll, but they do not reach for her often. The Merida doll is sturdy, with a detailed molded bodice and shirt sleeves. My oldest daughter loves the glitter in the bodice. The doll's skirt and shoes are removable. I really like that there are very few small pieces to lose. I wish that the doll had bendable joints (particularly knees). It's hard to reenact scenes from the movie when the doll movements are so limited. Also, like any doll with long hair, it is challenging to keep her hair in good condition with small children. Overall, I think this doll is good for younger children, as it can withstand not-so-gentle play, but older children might find it lacking.
