Studio Monitor quality without the bulk or weight!

These headphones are awesome!! The quality of the sound is fantastic. They are noise cancelling but do it without electronic wizardry. Just well insulated ear cups that don't let outside sound inside. I wear glasses and the ear cups get tight around them and I don't notice a difference in noise reduction if I am wearing my glasses or not. And with the available JBL Headphones app, you can custom tailor your sound to whatever makes you happiest for whatever music/media you are listening to.
Given the sound quality and isolation factors mentioned above, I believe these are as good as many dedicated "Studio Monitor" type headphones. Add to that BT and the lightweight of these, and you have a winning recipe. These do provide me with all day comfort at work and block out the annoyance of workplace noise with ease. I can't say for sure what the actual battery live of these are, because I have not reached it yet. They are stated to have 76 hours of listening. I'm only giving them at most 40 hours per week. And I don't want to be without my new favorites,. so I charge them up over the weekend.
These come with two cords. One cord is an audio cord so you can be wired to an output device (like my laptop, or an airline audio output) that is about 3 feet long. The other is the usual, way too short in my opinion, standard orange JBL power cord. And that is my only complaint about this product; the power cord is just too short. When plugged in on my counter, part of the headphone is dangling in air because the cord is not long enough. I usually end up just using a different USB-C cord. A small price to pay and you shouldn't let that deter you from enjoying the incredible sound these headphones provide.

Great sound, but the fit is too tight for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones have good bass and strong mids and highs. They sound really great aund get quite loud. They have the standard excellent sound quality JBL is known for. I don't find these headphones as comfortable as I had hoped for extended wear. I am a guy with a bigger head and my ears are on the larger side. These headphones have a bit too much force on my ears for my taste. After a while, like an hour or so, for me, they become uncomfortable. I like the volume controls on the headphones and phone calls seem to work well on them. I would definitely recommend them to someone with a smaller head and ears. They are great quality, but they don't fit me well.

Punchy Bass, Great Value Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here's my bottom line: JBL's Tune 720BT headphones are an excellent option for anyone looking for moderately priced, powerful sounding, reliable wireless headphones. Sound quality is very good, with deep, punchy bass and crisp highs - classic JBL sound. The headphones are comfortable, with soft, well-padded earcups, though those with larger heads might find the clamping force a little tiring after long listening sessions.
One of the standout features of the JBL Tune 720BT headphones is their long battery life. We're talking seriously long! I was able to get four days of use after a single full charge (not continuous, but a lot of listening), which is impressive. JBL also implemented a quick charging feature, which provides an additional three hours of playback time after being plugged in for 5 minutes. Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity is as reliable as expected, allowing easy pairing with multiple devices. One other thing I'd like to mention is that JBL included a detachable audio cable with these headphones. I know a lot of people are going to use these with the really good Bluetooth connection but I like the ability to plug in. Using an external DAC for the connection, I found sound wasn't terribly different but it did make a slight improvement with lossless recordings. Again, it's probably something a lot of folks won't use but I'm glad JBL provided the option. Features get two thumbs up!
The headphones are over-ear, primarily matte plastic with faux-leather earcups. They’re extremely lightweight (it seems JBL's headphones just keep getting lighter) but they don't feel cheap. Earcup padding is plush, but the clamping force is pretty high so those with large heads will be feeling it after a long listening session. Those with normal-sized heads might be okay. Build quality gets a thumbs up.
In temrms of sound quality, JBL's Pure Bass signature sound delivers deep, punchy bass while not sacrificing the mids and highs. Whether I was listening to music, podcasts, or watching movies, the audio experience ticked the right boxes for me. I'd recommend these for rock/pop/rap listeners, maybe not so much for classical. As with many other JBL headphones, sound preferences can be fine tuned using the JBL Headphones App. This is a feature that I really find valuable. While it's not a 12-band EQ, it provides enough customization to satisfy most people. Thumbs up on the sound!
Restating, I think these provide great sound for the price. The battery lasts FOREVER and the sound is classic JBL. If you're a fan or rock or pop, these are going to provide you with all the JBL punch you're looking for. There's no ANC but the over-ear design provides for some isolation. Just make sure you don't have a giant head.

Perfect Audio Companion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these for about two weeks now. Coming from Apple AirPod Pro 2nd. I absolutely love these. The noise cancellation is perfect. I use them on my big screen tv to watch tv at night and they sound incredible. They are pretty comfortable to wear for periods of time. The usb c charging is also a nice feature. Super easy to pair to my tv and to my smartphone as well. Definitely recommend these.

Buy These! You Won't Regret It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these headphones for a couple of weeks now and they have exceeded my expectations! First of all, they have a great battery life. I was not expecting them to last 76 hours of usage as mentioned on the package, but they did. They are very comfortable on my head and ears so I find myself easily able to use them all day. I put them on at work to tune out all the background noise around me. Afterwards, while I'm working out, cooking, or cleaning I utilize them to listen to my favorite podcasts. However, there are a few times I'm not able to use these. Even though I think of my head as being large, I've noticed these easily fall off while doing some exercises like sit ups or yoga. I do wish I could tighten them just slightly more to stay on. I've started using the JBL Headphones app to get even more use of all the functionality of these. I like that the Equalizer has presets I can select or even create my own. I also like to change settings in the app using Smart Audio and Video so that when listening to videos, it will stay in sync with my phone. I thoroughly enjoy these headphones and I'm considering getting my husband a pair. Highly recommend!

JBL 720 Expectations Exceeded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box the headphones were half charged and ready to go. From power on to confirmed BT connection was at most 30 seconds. Downloading the JBL app was not required but can be used to fine tune the sound quality of the headphones. I immediately noticed how confortable the ear cups were and the padding on the top of my head. My ears fit perfectly inside the ear cups which made for a very comfortable fit. The on off was easy to find with the headphones on and a push of the button turns them on and pairs right away. Push and hold the button and you enter BT pairing mode. Theres nothing difficult about using the track forward and volume buttons. The sounds has really good bass, mids, and highs. If you are an audiophile, you will enjoy these. These surpass any other headphones I've owned...they are that good! Charging the 720s is simple. I use these hours on end at the Gym and i forget I have them on.

The sound these deliver definitely meets my expectations without the headphones being too bulky and the ear pads being just soft enough to wear for an extended period of time. I love that it comes with an auxiliary cable so you can plug it into your computer, and the charging port is discreetly tucked away preventing it from getting Dusty when not in use.
