Poor charcoal coating

Filter would be great if they didn’t cheap out on the so called charcoal “layer.” A layer would imply that the surface area of the filter is completely cover or “layered” with charcoal. Have blotches of charcoal is not an layer.. Air is going to get pulled more through the areas with no charcoal then areas with since air takes path of least resistance. I’d rather pay an extra dollar to actually have a layer of charcoal vs throwing blotches of charcoal on filter to cut your costs while keeping same baseline numbers. All my other filters that have a charcoal layer are layered and not blotchy like this so called upgrade. At least get hepa layer to offset the poor quality outer layer..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Molekule air filter is a lifesaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter removes pet dander, paint fumes and SMOKE. It took about 2 days to remove ALL the smoke smell from the room and furniture when the stove pipe to the wood stove came apart. When this happened I thought the room was on fire there was so much smoke I couldn’t see the what was causing it. Screw malfunctioning let the chimney pipe fall apart. Thought I would have to replace the furniture but Molekule saved me. I will never be without one. I bought Molekule air cleaners for the kids house. He is very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly the filters will say they are bad and they always appear perfectly clean. I think they are designed to term out based on time rather than how much they have processed, which is conveniently timed with the 6month subscription....
