Baby Pork Ribs and 700D4E Smoker- all good!

I was pleasantly surprised the racks took on a deeper color than I expected. I used the Johnny Trigg's method for these and they turned out very good. They weren’t getting as much of a bark as I wanted, so I cranked the temperature to 300°F for the last hour and glazed the ribs with spicy BBQ sauce.The ribs were delicious and utilizing the Z Grill for smoking couldn’t have been easier. The smoke flavor was noticeably lower than when smoking with charcoal and wood, but some people prefer a subtler smoke flavor. I prefer a heavier smoke though.

With it being to hot to cook inside, I bought this smoker and have used it quite a bit. It will take some time to get it all figured out but I really like it so far.

I will never go back to gas or charcoal. Great for hotdogs or burgers. Smoked ribs for 6 hours and they turned out great. Brisket for 14 hours and it was outstanding. New York strip in 2 hours, best New York strip I ever cooked. Flavor is great, meat is tender. So far no issues, I wish I would have bought the bigger one with the cabinet.
Several reviews had problems with temperature control. I have found that mine stays within 5 to 10 degrees of what my target is. The fluctuation does not affect cooking or results. Keeping the burn area free of ash helps.

I want this to be a multi-part review. So far I am in the installation process and will update this later.
Installation:
They made it so convenient and thourough for the customers. Each small part and non distinguishable pieces are labeled. The manual is so detailed and provides everything needed. The quality on assembly instructions and labeling is the best I’ve seen so far.

My Father loves it

I bought this for my Father for his 66th Birthday in August. He built it within an hour!! It came partially built and the box weighed 82lbs just a FYI…
He used it last weekend and said “he loves it” It cooked his chicken amazingly
