New to smokers and love it

Bought my first pellet grill after researching all of them. I purchased the 7002f model. Was easy to put together no real issues. Did the initial burn off and off I went. My first cook was sliders which turned out great. I am now onto cooking a brisket this weekend. So far no issues and I can’t recommend this grill to others. Great job zgrill

Some constructive criticism: Put this together with a friend. Right off the bat we were missing a part. Thankfully it was just a washer, I had some similar on hand. Past that, the instructions BADLY need redone. There were some glaring omissions. Most notably (maybe this was instruction, maybe manufacture) was connecting the temp probe lead from the main chamber to the hopper unit. On ours, the lead from the hopper was nowhere to be seen. After some digging through the wiring, we found it and had to coat hanger it to get it through the right crevice. It took some tools to retrieve the lead and connect it. When we were done with the instructions, there were about 5 parts (mostly cosmetic) leftover that were not addressed at all in the instructions.
After all that, the unit wouldn’t turn on. After much troubleshooting, I pulled the bottom panel to find 2 connectors clearly not connected. They were zip tied so tightly that there’s no wonder they popped apart. I cut the zip tie, connected them, and now it works.
Long story short: I’m very mechanically inclined and eventually figured it out. If you’re not and run into the same issues I did, good luck.
I haven’t even cooked yet. Took me three evenings after work to get it “working”. Hopefully it cooks ribs well this weekend.
Sorry to be so negative, but you may want to address these issues. Particularly the poorly worded and illustrated instructions.

Doesn’t get better

The grill works flawlessly. Everything I’ve made so far has turned out perfect. I did however find there was a disconnected electrical connector from shipping. I feel this could be improved for a trouble free installation/assembly if they find a more solid connection. I had to open up the heat box/auger assembly to find the connection that had come loose.It was a simple fix but I had to do it twice and then I secured it with an extra fastener. The Grill does what it says it will do within a few degrees up or down and I am using it in Michigan winter weather with great results.

Pretty good, assembling the unit was pretty easy...only issue I have right now is I'm not getting very much smoke and not sure why yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received in less than a week. Came in one box. Was not quite as easy to assemble as some may say. I am pretty handy but there were several instances I needed another hand or two. Took me at least 2 hours. In some instances, like the legs, I had to file down some heavy welding points to get bolt holes to line up. But once it was done, oh my! Super easy to use and made me seem like a pro smoker. I’ve done a couple chickens and a brisket and they turned out so good and I’ve never smoked a thing in my life. The quality is really good and the only cosmetic issues I had were on the bottom and back of the unit and you can only see them in the right light. I am very well pleased.

There seemed to be tolerance issues with some of the legs. The 1/2” long coarse threaded fasteners to attach the legs were too short depending on the leg. Had to purchase fasteners that were 3/4” long to attach some of the legs.
The Temperature display is easy to read even in the bright sun. The convection blower is relatively quiet.
