The IQ AirVisual Pro is a big step up from similar price range competitors. It is a professional product with clear and quantifiable data, while other products I have tried seem to be for residential use or just checking in to generally see if air quality is "good" or "bad" or somewhere in between. With the AirVisual Pro I am creating a report that documents how the health of new housing my office is constructing out-performs other homes in our area, including those we have built in the past, when certain steps are taken and materials excluded. The data upload process is a little tricky, but mostly it's tricky to translate the data once you are in excel. The other big bonus of this device is that I can set it up in rural places, houses under construction and other locations without wifi and it still collects weeks of data that I can upload later for analysis. I couldn't find another similar device with that ability.
Great monitor! I can set bathroom exhaust fan timer to keep our C02 levels where they need to be. Lets me know when to open windows (or turn up air purifiers if pollen counts are high) by giving me up to date indoor air quality ratings. When it's time to go for my walk, I can quickly check outside air quality before I go. Humidity reading tells me if it's time to turn on A/C or dehumidifier as well.
This air monitor does work well. You can really notice co2 go up when we cook (and forget exhaust) or when we have bad air days reminds us to keep windows closed. I am thinking of installing it outside next and become an official air monitoring station for the neighborhood.
This has been helpful for our family. We discovered that our CO2 levels tend to be high, so we know pay attention to bringing fresh air in. Thankfully, our outdoor air quality is good where we live. At least for the time period we've had our unit.
This monitor is very useful. I bought it to monitor air in my house in Zapopan México. I really like it s lot; easy to use, large read-out, lots of places, inside and outside. The only negative is that when I wanted to select Zapopan, where I am, I didn't ser that as a choices, only áreas inside Guadalajara.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi there,
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review.
Like most air quality monitors, the AirVisual Pro relies on a network of public outdoor monitoring stations. While the AirVisual Pro network is the world’s largest network with the most monitoring stations, it is still subject to any issues local stations may have. To help contribute to our growing network of monitoring stations, you can submit a request for your AirVisual Pro to become a public outdoor monitoring station.

I've been using the AirVisual Pro for a couple months now to measure indoor air quality. By and large, the measurements that I've been able to check with other devices (esp. temperature, humidity, less directly AQI) proved fairly accurate. I've found it useful for indoor managing air quality and for reacting to outdoor air pollution. It's easy to set up and use. It also looks good.
There are only a few negative points: -The device is a bit overpriced -The battery only lasts a couple hours (long enough for most power outages, though) -The screen always turns back on after power outages, even at night, which is annoying
