My kids and I are really enjoying building an updated Windows 11 computer. We're getting all white parts and this Asus rog strix b850-a was the mobo we chose to go along with white theme. It's our first time building a computer and it started on our first try. Resources, instructions, and parts are all robust and got us going. The motherboard looks great and works great it’s mostly white but has black accents so it’s okay to have some black wires in the build vs all white.

this mobo is soo cute! i have always liked the way rog designs their products, and this was no exception. i wanted a mobo with rgb, and i wanted it to be white. after a bit of searching, this one was perfect! once i ordered it, it came in the mail. the motherboard itself is quite heavy, at about 4.5lbs (or 2kg). i realized all that weight was from the ginormous heatsink that was lowk perfect to dissipate heat. overall, this motherboard is perfect. good connectivity, cute aesthetics and design, it’s hella durable, and it’s from a good brand - ASUS (well technically rog but they’re the same thing sooo)
