Just installed my new motherboard and right off the bat it didn't work with the ddr5 that I have.. not sure why but I will keep trying to figure it out to give this new motherboard a chance to shine. If anyone knows a fix to the issues with vengeance ddr5 with this motherboard let me know. Thanks all.

To resolve the issue, check if the memory are compatible, working properly and installed correctly. If the RAM were check compatible, working and installed correctly, update the BIOS if the motherboard is running with an older version. So this isn't a bad board, but for the price the little bit of overclocking it provides is laughable. Start looking into asynchronous clocking, this and it's x870 a gaming board do not have (i would've left a higher review for this b850 but I bought an x870 to learn it doesn't have an external clock generator) to then turn around and buy a 3rd motherboard, not in white ruining my whole build. I'm really not pleased for the price of this and the x870 to be left with crumbs. No white boards offer the external clock generator. Highly disappointed with asus this time around.
Get this if you want a super duper overpriced BASIC white board and are not into overclocking. Simply paying a color tax on this, because the features aren't there for this or especially its x870 counterpart

Appearance wise, the silver and white play well in an all white build. This was running a white NZXT N7 B650 motherboard, but that thing fried and took some stuff with it, this board filled it it's spot just fine.
As for functionality, unfortunately it doesn't support PCIE 5.0 on M.2, but that's fine for what it is. Still running Windows 10 for work, and there are no drivers for WiFi, currently working with ASUS to see if something can be done about that. I'll update my review if they come through, but if not, that's a major deal breaker.

I made a brand new win 11 build. For whatever reason the drivers would not unpack and were giving me an error message that the package is not for a win10 installation. I tried asus hub, armory crate, windows update nothing would install mobo wifi drivers. I wound up buying a separate WiFi card and installing it. I have WiFi now and will never buy another asus board.

Overall, it's pretty good. There are only a few issues, but a big one is that the quick-release sometimes will not work, and it drives me insane. Especially when I replaced the 70ti with a 5080 from Zotac to test, the quick-release did not want the 5080 to leave my case (understandably), but it was the biggest pain to get out. If it weren't because everyone heard the snap and got scared that the 5080/MB was done, I would have given it a 4 or 5.
