I hated to part with it, but it was slowing down. I wanted something smaller and lighter. Something I could keep up in the kitchen. I just love this smaller Mini and so glad I made the purchase. I look forward to making many things with this new member of our family.

Love the mini except for one thing!

I bought this mini a month ago. I got one back in 1985 that is still going strong but I wanted something smaller for my new kitchen. Since I'm not making huge family meals these days, the mini does everything I want and more. It's lighter profile makes moving it much easier to move around, which was a big selling point for me. But, and it's a big but! Why Kitchen Aid does not include the plastic bowl cover with this model is extremely disappointing. That is more important than any of the attachments, IMO. You can buy a cloth cover for the machine but why would I want to cover such an adorable red mixer? It's a major shortcoming and I just don't get it. I tried to purchase it separately and I can't find it anywhere. My wife tried to improvise and make me one from a similar sized Tupperware cover, but it's unfortunately a poor imitation. Not sure what you're thinking Kitchen Aid but this subtracts points from an almost perfect appliance. My only hope is that priceless little cover will become available soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
