Cute, lighter weight and tough too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a classic KitchenAid mixer for 25 years. I lived it and used it a lot. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas a bunch of oil ran out of it
I went looking and found the mini. I was on the fence about going smaller. I'm 67 and lifting the classic out of the cabinet was tough. I decided to go for it. I even bought myself the food grinder attachment. I LIVE them both very much

Love this mini mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this smaller size mixer! It’s the perfect size for for everything I make. It’s not as heavy as the regular size. So it is easy to get in and out of the pantry. Best of all it fits perfect under my cabinet, even when the head is tilted up.

Disappointing Experience with an Expensive Mixer

I had high expectations for this mixer given its price and the brand's reputation, but it has been a frustrating experience. The mixer throws flour all over the place during use, making a huge mess. To make matters worse, for a mixer of this size, there's no pouring shield available to help control the mess. For the cost, I expected a well-thought-out design and proper accessories. Unfortunately, it doesn’t deliver on either. Save your money and look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

KitchenAid Legendary Quality does not disappoint!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kitchenaid Mixer is not legendary by accident. I've literally coveted one for over 20 years but couldn't bring myself to spend the money. My sons gifted it to me for my birthday shortly before Thanksgiving and boy, did she get a workout! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! My only caveat; buy the larger size. It's close to impossible to scrape down the sides with the beater running in the 3.5qt without hitting it. I'm assuming it's because of the smaller bowl capacity.

Perfect size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I inherited my mother's very old KA stand mixer but it's too heavy for me to use. This one was a gift and I wasn't sure I would use it. Because it's lighter and smaller, I DO use it! I keep it in my pantry and easily carry it to the counter whenever I need it. I even got the slicing/noodle attachment for it, and now I noodle everything I can!! Next is the pasta attachment when I can budget for it. It's been easy to use and clean-up is a breeze. I love it!!

I have owned 2 full sized kitchen aid stand mixers over my 58 years. Purchased this for a handicap apartment space, but even though it has adequate power it is very small. I will be returning it if possible I have my latest mixers attachments and bowl pictured here for comparison. My last mixer the attachment hub cover vibrated off into candy and broke the mixer. My 1st K.A. mixer became to heavy for me to move to a workable area in my kitchen. Another reason for this hopeful mini purchase.
