Hoping for better luck this time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mixer to replace the first one I bought about 2 or 3 years ago. I should have returned it as soon as I first used it as the on/off lever worked extremely hard. A few weeks ago it quit working entirely. So, I hope not foolishly, I purchased another one, So far it works OK. although the lever is "stiff". I do like the convenient size, saves me getting out my dependable 5 qt. stand mixer when I just have a small job. Its smaller size makes it easy to store. My review will be based on the one I just purchased.
