The set I bought was replacement for a Westbend set I bought in 1976. My Westbend cookware was very tough and cleaned up nicely. This Cuisinart set is not as tough, it has spots from boiling eggs and must be dried immediately after washing to prevent spotting. Compared to 43 years ago this cookware is pretty, but fragile. Not what any cook wants.

Great quality. I have had several problems with different pots and pans over the years. Particularly non stick surfaces coming off and pots with different materials coming apart over time. These are great quality, heat evenly and clean easily.
