It's nice, but not sure it's worth all the money. For what we paid, I'd expect it to suck the chrome off of a tail pipe! haha It doesn't get all the air out of the bags. Could be a user error, but we follow the directions....and still a bit of air in the bags (we'll keep trying).
The air tight containers/vacuum seal containers are nice...and that little hand held vacuum sealer works great!

Smaller size means more countertop space and the vacuum motor is significantly quieter than previous models. One downer...having to manipulate the bag rolls to change from bag sealing to accessory use is a bit annoying. That being said, I would still recommend this moisture/liquid machine.

I love that it seals the next package when you cut the first one, but I do not like the new hand held device. It is round instead of oval so it does not fit the bowls I have from the original sealer.

I had a Foodsaver V2420 for many many years. It finally cratered last week. I thought I could do without a replacement, but boy was I wrong. I went today and bought the newest model. The Elite all in one liquid + is the greatest one yet. I went grocery shopping and bought a bunch of meat that was on sale. I brought it home and vacuumed all in individual portions and put it in the freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Must Remove the roll before sealing a bag

Received this Elite model yesterday and I can NOT believe you have t REMOVE the roll BEFRE you can seal a bag. This alone makes this unit terrible. A real failure of engineering.

Quick and easy set up to seal in moments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to follow instructions. This has everything you need to get started and quickly. Wanted to start with something with a little more substance then will be using with more liquid leftovers. This is excellent for sealing meat and freezing food.

Works great for soups and sauces!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love this thing. My husband works out of town but I love soups, especially as the weather gets colder. I have no clue how to cook for one. I have found that I can make bigger batches of soups, sauces, and chili and freeze them into smaller portions that I can pull out for me when I want it. My biggest issue was trying to freezer pack them. I have another model of Foodsaver that works great for the less “wet” type foods but when I try to seal soups and things like that, the vacuum sucks it all into the air reservoir and it’s a huge mess. This one works awesome though. I can set the mode I want and it vacuums and seals without a huge mess every time. The bag roll stores nicely in the back and feeds through so you can pull what you want, seal and cut! It has a bag detection feature that lets you know you are in the right spot. The hand held accessory is one of the best features for all of the many accessories you can get. Foodsaver has zipper bags, marinating containers, bottle stoppers and other items to make preserving much easier. I do find using this one for the dry goods a little more challenging because I’m a “flat package” type of person and like my sealed packages to lay as flat as possible for storing. I found a cutting board that is just the right height to help me accomplish that now so it’s really not a big deal.
