Fun experiments and a cute doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My five-year-old is a huge Descendants fan and was SO excited to receive this toy to go along with the new movie. It took her about 20 minutes to complete the projects inside. She was especially mesmerized by the fizzy ball that revealed the key needed to unlock the Red doll. Even though you can only do the projects one time, she’s played with the doll and book so much! She loves locking and unlocking Red as well as making her own "potions" in the mixing cup with kitchen ingredients. Her only disappointment is that the color changing skirt turns back to its regular color quickly, but she still requested the blue set with Chloe too. I love that she can store everything back inside the book when she's finished. So much fun!

Hidden Slime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was for my 10yr old and she was really into it. She enjoyed all the surprises and the mystery behind it. She loved figuring out the secrets. My 4 year old was really into it as well.
So I would recommend it really for any age range. It was an easy clean and my two girls were able to follow the instructions and handle it all on their own.

Beautiful

The packaging is beautiful it looks like a book, inside are recipes to find the key, make the slime and the doll skirt changes colors. Making the slime was her favorite part it was easy to do and she didn't make a mess.

Box with Doll, Recipes for slime & fizzy surprise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Descendants Rise of Red: the Sorcerer’s Cookbook was a fun morning activity. My daughter is not old enough to read yet, but was able to follow the picture directions for the recipes Recipe #1 mixing the slime powder with water using the included cup and bowl. The directions say it may take 6 minutes, however for us it only took 2 minutes. Recipe #2 mixing a fizzy ball with water to reveal the hidden surprise, a small key to unlock the doll compartment. The cookbook box has enough space to hold an extra doll.

Spells, Surprises, and More

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4-year old had lots of fun with the Descendants Rise of Red Sorcerer's Cookbook. His favorite color is red which immediately drew him to the toy. After opening the cookbook, there were fun spells that can be cast to make slime, fizzy potions, and unlock a surprise! The steps of the spells were easy to follow and packaging was included to help contain any mess.
While the toy was entertaining, there wasn't much to do with the cookbook after the spells are cast. When initially opening the cookbook, the secret door was open which kind of ruined the surprise. Overall the toy is fun, engaging, and definitely kept my 4 year old entertained.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun educational durable

Fun for Red Fanatics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rise of red spell book is a wonderful toy for your Descendants fan. My daughters loved the interactivity of the toy. From the accessories to the slime to the doll, it kept them entertained. They also loved that they could re-lock the spellbook and pretend to use it over and over again.

Great toy with activity
