Wanted better real time HR tracking on the Garmin Connect app. My Polar H10 gives more useful information during activity.

So far this HRM is working well. It was easy to pair and is being used team sports and other activities where I don't want to wear my watch. It is annoying needing to remember to charge this versus the older models that lasted for months before needing a charge. However the trade off is worth it to use as a standalone device. Time will tell how this lasts but the initial impression is good.

Does what it is supposed to do

I recently added the Garmin HRM200 to my setup, mainly because my bike computer, watch and taillight with radar are already Garmin.
The HRM200 does exactly what it promises: it reliably displays heart rate data. Setup was quick and seamless with my existing Garmin devices.
Compared to my previous Polar H10, I haven’t noticed any extra features or integration benefits despite having a full Garmin ecosystem. It’s a solid, no-frills heart rate monitor that works well if you want simplicity and compatibility with Garmin gear.

Does not work with Peloton!

Says works with Peloton but does not. Attempts to connect, connects and then drops. Have tried new battery, different machines, all with the same bad result! Do not purchase for use with Peloton.

Perfect HRM

Heart rate monitors aren't sexy, but when you get one that does exactly what it's supposed to and also feels great while it's on is fantastic. I like the new strap compared to the older unit I had. The pairing button on the front of the unit works GREAT and I love the fact I can wash the strap with zero worries.

Great product

Super easy to use and leaps and bounds better than my watch. Only small (very small) downside is that it is recommended you wet the device before using it. Living in a cold climate and working out at 4am doesn't mix well with having to put a wet and cold device on my body, but I guess it makes me stronger for it. Overall 9/10 would recommend to my friends.
