Not native useable as a standalone device

You need 3rd party app to get the heart rate to the health app in i‘os. The garmin app is useless apart from firmware updates, not even able to record or show the heart rate

Cannot show my ongoing heart rate on Garmin Connect on my iPhone. Requires a smart watch to view the BPM while I'm exercising. Not good. Will return the HR200!!!!

Wearing a jacket and gloves in the winter was making my watch extremely inaccurate during runs, so upgraded to the HRM 600 and now have much more accurate data. Super cool that I can take my watch off for team sports and still record a workout with the heart rate monitor, highly recommend!

I haven't owned an HRM for years, so this felt like a big purchase commitment for me. I'm glad I did, because the features are robust, and pairing it to my Garmin sports watch was very easy.

Garmin product is usually on point but this HRM strap is not up to par: it synchronized with my Garmin but the data was all over the map - it had my heart rate crazy low and then crazy high doing a steady state ride on the indoor trainer. I rinsed the strap in warm water just prior to the ride and had the strap quite snug (almost uncomfortable). I tried it all and it just wasn't accurately transmitting data.

Does exactly what I need

Pairs up easily with my watch and app, accurate heart rate regardless of what cardio I'm doing. Easy on and off, the LED indicators are nice so that you know that it's actually on.
