Awesome Way to be Inclusive!

I bought this doll for my daughter after coming across it online. My daughter was born with scoliosis so to find a doll with scoliosis as well is amazing. When my daughter is old enough to understand why we go for yearly X-rays, she’ll now have a friend to go with her and not feel so alone. Thank you so much for creating this doll!

Great Representation in this Chelsea doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little sister Chelsea doll is a great addition to any kid's Barbie collection. The notable addition with this particular doll is that she's wearing a back brace for scoliosis. I think it's great to give kids exposure to physical differences and for kids with scoliosis to have this representation. This Chelsea doll does not come with any other accessories (except for the removable shoes) but that's OK with me, less to lose around the house.

Love this for Scoliosis Awareness

Thank you so much Mattel for making this doll and spreading awareness about Scoliosis. This will truly help kids with Scoliosis too. I was diagnosed at 8yo and I’m now 43 and ordered one for myself.

Diverse doll opens imagination

It hold my daughters attention and gets us talking about all different types of amazing people in this world. I love her brunette hair and back brace. Not one person is the same and that’s how dolls should be too. Teach them diversity.

Cute doll but could use some tweaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sweet little doll and my little girls are having a good time playing with her. However, I do havea few notes, it is marked as 3+ and with the tiny shoes, I would honestly suggest this toy for closer to 5. We ended up throwing out the shoes because they were just too much for my 3-year-old. Additionally, the dress is adorable, but it is covered by this somewhat unexplainable corset or back-brace? It would be a much better toy without this aspect. Again, my kids discarded it because they did not know what it was. The high point of this doll is her pretty hair, my girls are loving brushing her hair.

Super beautiful

Great smaller sized doll, a perfect stocking sized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My younger daughter loves this doll. It is a smaller size doll has a cute dress, shoes and a belt. The pattern is very 90's and I love that she has auburn hair. My daughter has auburn hair so she loved that it matches her hair color. The belt is a little confusing, but I am guessing that a cloth belt would have been too small to work. It is nice to see a smaller sized doll with different hair color. Having an older sister she is able to relate to this doll.

Great fun and sturdy doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old daughter played with this as soon as I opened it. She played with it a good hour, and played with it for a week before it got put in one of her many bags that she likes to store things in. It has enough articulation for fun and is very sturdy, so I did not worry about pieces breaking off. The life jacket is removable.
