Extremely High Quality Collectable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I received this item, I anticipated receiving a nice Barbie collectable. However, I was quite surprised with the quality of this doll. It truly is a piece of art. I personally couldn't imagine playing with this doll. Every detail is quite impressive and it even feels heavier than a traditional Barbie. For a true Barbie collector, I can;t recommend this enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this piece. It was very well crafted. The attention to detail was outstanding. I just set this doll up in my collection cabinet. The outfit was so awesome. I with it would have had the concha’s on the side of the pants to make it look more authentic but it’s still a fabulous piece!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is absolutely beautiful and well crafted. The attention to detail is spot on. The Ken doll comes with a black stand and it holds the doll in perfectly. It has very bright blue colors which is perfect for a day of the dead alter with its bright colors. This doll is definitely more of a collectors piece than a toy a child can play with. It comes with a certificate of authenticity to prove it’s an original piece most toys don’t come with this. Since it’s more of a collectors piece my daughter couldn’t play much with it other than moving the hands as well as the legs to pretend it’s walking the head turns left and right but that’s as much as what you can do with it.i don’t think it was intended for play but my daughter still had fun playing with it and enjoyed the Ken Doll as It’s perfect toy for Halloween.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this Ken dia de muertos doll is amazing. The detail in this doll is insane. As a collector or a doll to play with this doll is made sturdy. The box itself is beautiful and colorful. My daughter and I both went insane. We love day of the dead and always celebrate my father and her grandfather so we have something to add to our ofrenda. The clothing is so intricate and the face painting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ken Doll is exquisite. A collector piece for sure. The stitching detail on the clothing is one of my favorite parts. The bone details in the stitching, belt, and hat are beautiful. The face mold and painting is also wonderful. The box he comes in is worth keeping, it’s sturdy and stunning.

A very nice doll, maybe not a toy…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very nice doll, but maybe not a toy. From the carton box it arrivrd in through the fancy product box you can see this is not an ordinary toy to be played with by an 8 year-old girl. Even the way it is decorared might scare a Girl if she is not familiar with Day of the Day tradtion. Fortunately my daughter knows about it, but she didn’t want to play with a Ken in costume, but decided she would set it apart as a collectible…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very easy for her to grab and take on the go! Doesn’t come with many accessories, but the doll does come with a stand. Perfect for display or everyday play!

"OH MY!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my nine year old granddaughter ripped off the tissue paper surrounding this item she was thrilled to see the beautiful Dia De Muertos box. She opened the box on a kid size table making it easy to play with the doll. The design of this collectible box is amazing, colorful and exciting. Like most 11 inch dolls the 9inch by 13inch package is expected however, this box is 31/2 inches deep. She couldn't wait to see this Ken doll and said "OH MY!" with a huge smile on her face before even removing the clear plastic. She was immediately drawn to the clothes, especially the shirt which is embroidered and looks so nice on the black shirt. The pants have bright blue stripe down each leg surrounded by white pom pom trim. The same blue is used on the cuffs of the shirt and as a bow tie around his neck. His silver belt is nicely decorated with a silver skull buckle. The hat has a removable silver band with the skull at the front. She really liked the texture of his clothing and the colors decorating the shirt and pants. His face is painted with wonderful detail and she was surprised at how accurate the face paint was for a Dia De Muertos doll.
She had the doll do some leg splits which she thought were funny. His pants are very tight so sitting down isn't really an option but she had fun having him move around looking at the cardboard alter. The alter even has painted on items like the box. After trying the doll, she added the clip to the doll's waist and the pole and pushed that into the clear round base. Then she adjusted his hat and placed him in front of the alter facing the alter and away from it. She even added the top and bottom of the box to either side of the alter to make more play space. She also like the doll's hair. It is soft and rooted. His hat was a little disappointing because it is plastic and slides off when the doll moves too much. This sturdy box easily held the doll, alter and stand. It is so solid she put it on a shelf for display until she took him out again about an hour later. It's been 3 days and now she keeps the doll out of the box and plays with him. This is an excellent doll for a child this age or older.
