Ninja Slushi- Very disappointed

Buyers Beware. Would give it a zero star if possible. I was able to use this machine 4 times to make a milkshake using the recipe in the supplied booklet to have mold growing in a Crack that can't be cleaned out. A design flaw that the manufacturer has corrected in the newer model. I have tried all of the manufacturer recommendations..... let it sit in vinegar, put in top dishwashing rack, and a water pick. Just bought the waterpick for this issue. After 3 weeks of complaining I was told to buy a new machine. The machine is still under warranty but was told it wouldn't be covered because of wear and tear. Lol. 4 times using it. I will never buy another product from this company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine for the price

I have a bunch of NINJA products. My wife laughed when I sent her the picture of the slushi machine and wanted to know if I ordered it yet. Yes honey, yes I did, and she loves it! Huge win again for Ninja.
I have put several drink mixers through the machine and it does great. One thing I noticed was if I cut back on the liquor in the mix and just topped the drink with a shot, it will freeze much faster, plus you get the hit of the booze on top.

My new favorite thing!

This machine has forever changed the way we entertain! We’ve had the Ninja Slushie for just over a week now and have used it every single day- it’s just so much fun. It’s simple enough for the kids to use, and they enjoy coming up with creative recipes to try out. I enjoy making frappes in the morning (goodbye Dunkin’ Donuts), and our favorite drink - frozen wine slushies to wind down at the end of the day. We pulled this bad boy out at a recent bbq and it really stole the show.
Not to mention it’s super easy to use and clean. It’s very quiet and I love that you can just keep it going pretty much all day, so the frozen drinks keep flowing! Just buy it!!

Would have been great except none of the marketing or descriptions indicated that it would only work when drinks contain sugar. There goes my hopes of having an ice cold Diet Coke slushee.

I’m returning mine it’s overrated does freeze spiked drinks without adding water. And the consistency of other beverages is so/ so.

I misjudged the size of this machine. Its too large too heavy for a normal sized home kitchen. It was so heavy and cumbersome i never bother to test it, returned. The other thing that influenced my decision was there was not full disclosure on the site that everything must contain sugar.

Big Fail

Had it a week. Patiently tried margarita’s premixed and never could get them any thing more than extremely cold.
Troubleshooting hints said too much alchohol or sugar. I doubt a premixed bottle of margarita is going to have excess alchohol but watered it down 20-30% and still no slush.
3 cans of Dr Pepper. No alchohol. Still no freeze. If this is too much sugar, I need a different machine. Sending it back
