Great Portable Speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker has hit a lot of marks. It's portable, waterproof and has a clear and crisp sound quality. It sounds like a full home surround system on wheels or your shoulder (lol). Great addition for all outdoor fun yet can be used indoors too. If there was one thing I would change, I would add a carry case or bag.
Otherwise, I would definitely recommend as an owner of various portable speakers of various brands, this is hands down the best. This is sure to make the next day at the park or beach a hit.

Excellent sounding unit with future proof tech!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! What an amazing bluetooth speaker! I can truly say this bluetooth speaker is the best I have ever tested. The sound is precise, rich, full, and the form factor is durable and beautiful. The unit is very durable and made of extremely high quality material. Even the strap hooks are some of the best I have used on any device. Some of the features are: Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast (if you dont know what Auracast is, look it up. It is the future of Bluetooth broadcasting), IP 67 rating, Party Boost with ability to connect more than 1 JBL speaker, USB type C external charging port for devices, 30hr battery life, and replaceable battery.
Things I love: I love the JBL portable app that connects to this speaker. It allows me to dial in the sound via EQL for every song if I wish. It also allows me to connect more than 1 speaker. I have a party box in one room and this one in another. I use them both. When I travel, I take it with me. As a music lover, most hotels don't have any way to listen to music except through a tv. I take this with me and I am set. The carrying strap is very comfortable and has rubber gripping to keep the speaker from moving around. This is a very clever feature. The unit is just the right size. I always recommend plugging in the speaker when possible as it does deliver better sound. On battery mode, the bass is cut just a bit (albiet it still sounds amazing) to preserve battery life. Using AI, the unit will attempt to maximize the battery power for extended playing time. If the battery ever is unable to accept a charge, instead of throwing the whole unit away, just simply replace it via the door on the back. This could theoretically allow you to buy an additional battery to have as a backup for extended battery play if no electricity is available. I could see this in an off grid camping situation. That would give you nearly 60hrs of playback time having 2 batteries.
JBL, you have simply knocked this one out of the park! This units technology will be relevant for many years to come and the replaceable battery will keep the unit out of the landfill should the battery no longer hold a charge. Way to go JBL!

Excellent Sound within a Variety of Environments!

The bass is loud and distinct when listening to your favorite songs. When listening to podcasts the audio is clear and concise. If you are looking for a quality speaker to use throughout your entire house this is for you. I can easily recommend the JBL Xtreme 4.

Booming, Durable and Long Lasting Great Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Xtreme 4 portable speaker is a great choice for various outdoor scenarios. My personal use is for our horse trailer. We have a well lived in weekender for hauling our horses and I was looking for something that could stand up to the abuse of life on the road.
The main things I was looking for were:

The Xtreme 4 is IP67 rated, making it waterproof and dustproof. It can withstand the elements, including dust, rain, and splashes—perfect for horse trailers where conditions can be unpredictable.
The Xtreme 4’s build quality ensures it can handle bumps and vibrations during travel. It won’t be easily damaged while on the road

The Xtreme 4 delivers impressive audio performance, even in open spaces. This thing can get really, really loud. When I am relaxing in the trailer, in the sorting pen, or hanging out with fellow riders around the fire, the speaker provides clear and full sound with a great bass thump.

Portability:
While not the lightest speaker, the adjustable carrying strap makes it easy to transport. Hang it over your shoulder, on a hook, or secure it inside the trailer.

Use Auracast to connect multiple Xtreme 4 speakers or other JBL Speakers that support Auracast wirelessly. Sync up speakers inside the trailer or around the campfire for a surround sound experience.

Application support:
The JBL portable app makes connecting a piece of cake and provides some good EQ profiles. I would have liked a more functional EQ that allowed for custom profiles but maybe I haven’t found them yet.

In summary, the JBL Xtreme 4 is a reliable companion for RV, horse trailer and all kinds of outings by providing great sound, durability and charge longevity.

Amazing sound and extra portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best portable speakers that I've owned. Between the app that provides more settings to the sound quality, it's amazing. I've used this outside when working cleaning up the backyard and around the garage when working, and the bass is amazing for such a small speaker. Its the perfect size between too small/quiet and too large to take on the go, it's perfect. The app has more controls to link together speakers, change bass settings, updating software and probably more to come. The battery life is pretty awesome too, with the bonus of USB-C charging, so I can use the same power cord that my phone uses.

Bought this a few weeks ago to replace and upgrade from my charge 3 and am very much pleased and impressed! Sound and bass is awesome and love taking it outside and jamming out!
