Picture quality is outstanding with vibrant colors, sharp details and excellent brightness. Family and friends who visited my home absolutely loved it and are planning to buy it too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what other brand name tvs are like and I will never know, Because Samsung is all I'll ever know. I decided to buy The Frame TV because I wanted to remove my 55" wine painting from the wall in the kitchen and have a TV there instead. So why not The Frame if you love Art as well The digital art collection has gotten better. My friends are blown away even before I tell them it's a TV they've all assumed that it's a painting. Such a great concept for a television. What will Sammy think of next?

Literally doesn't work as advertised

If you are buying this tv for art mode, it literally doesn't work.
Motion detection doesn't work.
Light detection doesn't work.
If you turn off an HDMI source, you'll stare at a blue screen instead of art.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Art frame is disguise

At first glance, everyone thinks it’s just a piece of art, but after a few minutes, when the image changes, they ask, "What is that?" That’s when I reveal it’s the Frame TV by Samsung.
The motion sensor is a great power-saving feature, turning off the display when no one is in the room. The interchangeable bezels and ultra-slim mount give it the look of a true art frame, blending perfectly with the decor.
With the art subscription, you have access to world-famous artwork, and you can easily upload your own photos via USB or the SmartThings app (just make sure you're on the same Wi-Fi network).
As a TV, it’s fantastic. The UI is fast and responsive, and it doubles as a smart home hub. The solar-powered remote is another bonus—no more worrying about batteries!
I paired the Frame TV with the Q990D Soundbar and a Music Frame, and the sound blew me away. Once you experience it, you won’t want to go back to regular TV audio.
If you're looking for a TV that can seamlessly transform into a piece of art, this is the one.

Turn off "ART" feature?

I bought this a few weeks ago and did not understand that I could not turn off the "art" feature. There must be some way to do this without paying a fee for the feature that I do not want. The screen needs to be off at night as the lit up screen is too bright to be left on at night. The art work streamed is not what I want. The only way to access the art feature is to pay for the Samsung feature first.
