Adds to the decor of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is slick and thin. The separate control box requires having a built in cubby behind the TV for a truly clean look.
The art options are the real revelations. Having the art adds to the room instead of a blank spot on the wall. Moreover I am exposed to various artists begin to understand what my preferences. Also exposed to art that I would not have otherwise. The recreations are stunning in texture.

Wonderful TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would rate this television 5 stars, and be completely satisfied were it not for two minor programming issues. Both of these have to do with the “home” screen.
I wonder why the first time I push for the “home” screen I always get the art choice Home Screen. And then need to toggle over to the sidebar menu to get the actual Home Screen for TV viewing.
My only other issue is that the art I chose does not always seem to “stick”, and I see different art the next time I turn the TV on.

Best TV for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the slim design of the Frame TV. I didn’t want our TV to be the main focus of our living room so I love that the wood-look frame and matte screen gives it a less “techy” appearance. While I don’t think this tv is fooling anyone into thinking it’s really framed art, I do love switching out the artwork based on the season or upcoming holidays, my kids love it as well.
It was a bit tricky to install, deciding on where we wanted the power unit (whether in the wall or in a cabinet) was difficult. We tried for the wall but it my older house the studs were a mess and the unit gets very hot so the thermostat on the other side of the wall was thinking our house was 90 degrees! We ended up putting it in a cabinet. Over all I’m very happy with my purchase! I would love to replace all my tvs with frames!

Frame TV Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Frame TV since used a custom frame to match the decor and character of our 247 year-old stone farmhouse. The Frame TV is above the wooden mantle of our stone fireplace. Any other modern style TV would look out of place. This TV works perfectly with our antiques and portraits in our living room. The high tech functionality and convenience features of the TV are an added plus when we want to turn our artwork into entertainment mode. Overall, we are very pleased with our wonderful Samsung TV!

Everything depends on use case. Software SUCKS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung really doesn't understand it's customers in the TV market. Their software has been abysmal on TV's for the last 15 years at least. The Frame is no exception. The "art" interface feels clunky and unintuitive, making it a hassle to navigate artwork options. It also lacks integration with typical photo platforms, restricting customization. Instead, it pushes Samsung’s subscription-based Art Store, which frustrates to no end. Even using the "home button" on the remote doesn't always get you where you need to be. When used as a TV, it shines, but NOT with the built in apps which are rarely updated, and often don't work or don't provide full resolution.
