This television died suddenly first two weeks…

Samsung 77 “ class OLED S90D television died within two weeks of purchase Took it out of the box as a Christmas present for my family and it worked great - One day - just watching TV and the screen turned black as if someone shut it off. No power at all to the television - brand new- less than a month owning and using it and it was completely and suddenly dead. Called the store of purchase and was told these televisions are prone to having a fuse break and the screens do in fact just black out and the TV dies unpredictably. The store is sending me another exact television to replace the one that died suddenly but I do not want it - I am forced to take the replacement and see how long that one will last. Horribly disappointed. Have been a Samsung customer for many years and owned a previous Samsung TV that lasted over 10 years. I do not know what they are producing now- but the quality is below standards.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome picture, Great TV

Bought this to replace a Samsung LED (maybe a 2014 year model). The picture on this is fantastic and the sound is really solid for a flat screen. I like the software and how it puts my local OTA channels right in the guide. Setup was fairly straightforward and easy; but hanging was a bit harder than my older model. This thing is light and seems very delicate when picking it up to hang, we were a bit nervous like it could break in half - probably wouldn't, but it just seems like it could. We are very pleased we went with this TV.

I bought this tv about three weeks ago and could not be happier. It lives up to all the hype published in all the reviews I read before purchasing. This smart tv has great features that are easily maneuvered with a very small remote. It recognized my Bose 700 sound bar and it connected with ease. Would HIGHLY recommend this smart tv for your next purchase.

I’ve had this TV for two weeks now and have had the chance to evaluate it under many different viewing conditions, including a very bright room and a high viewing angle. It hasn’t disappointed. I no longer have to angle my TV to avoid reflection from my window and to get an undistorted picture from my one chair that sits at a sharp viewing angle. The picture is beautifully bright and sharp and the colors are vibrant. I picked this TV based on multiple reviews, all of which highly recommended it. I agree, I don’t think there’s a better TV available for the money.

I bought this 3 months ago and regret it. I am at the point I don't even want to watch tv any more. I am a 76 year old and can't even work the channel changing. In all fairness the picture quality is great. They need to put numbers on the remote control to get to the station you want.

You can search for and select the S90D TV to download the guides you would like.
The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.
