Thank you for purchasing Samsung's S90D TV and for your feedback on the sound. To ensure you’ve got the latest sound quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the sound is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal preferences.
• Sound Modes may better meet your personal preferences. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, or Expert Settings to fine-tune and customize your sound.
• Adaptive Sound will also further optimize sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings.
Should you choose to add a Samsung Soundbar to your TV, please know that our Q- or S-Series Soundbars (such as the HW-S800D) feature Q-Symphony which will synchronize with the speakers of your TV for an immersive 3D sound experience.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your S90D TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

Amazing TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the TV on black Friday replacing my 8-year old Samsung TV. It is absolutely amazing. Stunning picture and even works well with my older Samsung sound bar. Amazing gaming features and the setup was super easy.
I only have 2 minor things that I would change. 1) the remote is missing an input button. It takes a couple presses to get to the device menu. I bought a universal remote for my kids to use so they don't lose the tiny remote, and it has an input button so problem (sorta) solved. 2) the remote doesn't control my soundbar. I have a Samsung sound bar and my previous Samsung TVs remote could control it, but the remote bundled with the TV could not. Fortunately, the universal remote could (oddly enough it worked on the TV and the sound bar out of the box without any programming.
Those are very minor and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a new TV, on sale or not.

Had this TV for 3 weeks now. It is excellent all around. Bright colors, bright whites, clear and spectacular. 4K DVDs are outstanding, as are the streaming services. Bought it right, and already seeing value for the money. Highly recommend!!

Great picture with good sound quality

I bought this 65" OLED S90D TV two weeks ago and have zero regrets. The picture is outstanding with vivid colors and deep blacks. I am really enjoying the integrated google technology as well. One thing I didn't anticipate noticing as much was the very good sound quality from the TV itself. Overall, very satisfied with my new purchase and would definitely recommend.
