Great picture

I'm very impressed with picture quality. Not happy that there are no instructions with this tv. After mounting on wall and hooking all wires up tv tells me I used the wrong hdmi port. Really? It will stay where it is and I will have to deal with warning box appearing EVERY time I power on. All that money and you couldn't send directions. Not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the S90D TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under Support (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the S90D TV under OLED TVs to download the guides you would like.

The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support

Perfect Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture quality for me was the most factor when deciding to buy a TV. This TV had the best picture quality of any TV that I reviewed. The picture on this TV is absolutely crystal clear and the colors (both blacks and colors) are stunning. I like everything about this TV. The remote control is simple and it does not need batteries. I also like how easy it is to get the best picture in the settings of this TV. I highly recommend this TV.

I am loving the deep blacks on this OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a must buy for someone looking to get an OLED that is on a budget. This midrange TV is great overall. I must admit though.. the UI response sometimes lags which can get annoying for someone that is not patient... my last TV was faster than this from a different competitor and operated as fast as my Z Fold 6 so Samsung... Please release an update for a more fluid experience. My roommate is looking to get the S95D for our living room which is full of bright light - super excited!
I do have a concern with one app that I use to test my Dolby Atmos setup... it plays it in stereo sound when testing for some reason.. other than that though all of my apps play at the correct codecs through my Q990D Soundbar which is an amazing pair.
I still need to play around with the video settings to get everything how I want it to be but overall I am satisfied with this TV.

DO NOT BUY!!! KNOWN POWER BOARD ISSUES

I have been a loyal samsung customer for years for both tvs and phones since the first galaxy was released. After my Qn90A qled tv died (only 3.5 years after purchase) I gave them another chance purchasing the S90D on 1/13/25. The picture quality was amazing. 7 days later tv shuts off and won't turn on. This has been a common issue and is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung's quality control is absolute garbage and their customer service is lackluster. Avoid all samsung tvs until they get their ish together and start building products that last like they used to. I truly liked this tv and wish that samsung invested more into their quality control to make a great lasting product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

65" Class OLED S90D

I bought it on December 21, 2024 and on January 18, 2025 it went black. It would turn on then turn off by itself. It is now February 1st and it has not been fixed. Still waiting for a tech to come and fix it. Before this we had a sharp that lasted 18 years with no problem.

Faulty Power board Do not buy.

Power board failure after 8 months. 65” are also affected. Google search for your class and action to sign up. This model should have been pulled and replaced. They’ve known about this issue. Hopefully, someday we will get reimbursed for shady business practices. I’ll never buy Samsung again.
