[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was actually a gift. The picture is great, the sound not so much. I find it a little difficult entering information using the on screen keyboard. Took me much longer to set up all the streaming accounts then I expected. Had to restart many times.

Thank you for taking the time to communicate with LG about your experience with your LG TV. We read from your feedback that you were having trouble with the product, so we’d like to help you with it. It would be our pleasure to assist you with this, but we must switch to a platform that allows for back-and-forth conversation. Please send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter through @LGUSSupport, or call our Customer Service at (800) 243-0000, and we would be happy to help you out. ^James.
I bought this tv as a major upgrade to my previous one, and I certainly have not been disappointed. The clarity of the picture is great! It is also very user friendly with the preloaded apps for streaming. I definitely will buy another LG product when the time comes.
My wife and I have been wanting a new TV for a while now and finally bought one. We had an old DLP 65 inch TV that was getting so old that it was hard to see the picture. E for the new LG and our minds were blown. The colors were so deep and the picture so vivid. The clarity on this tv is outstanding. The only negative thing I have to say about this TV is it's remote. All of the buttons are too small and too close together, making it far too easy to accidentally hit the wrong button. This makes navigating difficult and time consuming.
Owned the LG Thin-Q 70’ for over a month. Sound is great. My LR is approx 850 sq ft or larger and I do not need any form of soundbar! The tv is hanging on the wall using an Onn Mount from WM. This is the heaviest flat screen I’ve ever owned though, weighing just under 80 lbs. (seems heavier due to the size of the tv in box). The picture is clean when using customized settings. Factory settings are set to automatically detect the type of show and change picture mode to adjust (movies automatically set to filmmaker mode, football sets to sports mode, etc). Filmmaker mode is too dark for me, and I don’t care for constantly changing picture modes on the tv, so I was happy to find the setting to turn off the automatic picture mode changes. Occasionally a show will have an odd green screen background (i.e. MTV The Challenge when they are doing interviews) that will become pixelated when viewing, but I’m certain there is a setting that will help reduce the issue. The remote- ok but has odd button placement. Still getting used to using the remote without looking for specific buttons. Overall, this is a good tv. I know it will be replaced as size and technology improves, but we are happy with this tv. The apps are good, with direct buttons to the included LG channels app, Amazon Prime, Disney, and Netflix. No ESPN+ app available though.
