Don’t buy

I purchased this for my son for Christmas and it is awful!!! It doesn’t even remotely scan correctly even when the drawing is clearly not what it guesses. In our game, we had asparagus as a pancake and a cup as a cello. Absolute waste of money.

Do not buy this game!

This game is terrible. The "AI" is wrong most of the time, if you can even get it to scan your drawings. It's very difficult to get a good scan. We've tried playing several times and have quit each time, due to the frustration of the poor scanning. Mattel should recall this pile of junk game. I feel bad that my daughter got this for Christmas.

Fun, but needs great internet.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

offensive ai + low quality pen, good concept!

i got this game yesterday and just played it, and I have to say, the concept is good, but the ai is actually rude. when you put your drawing up, it will say things that are very offensive. i clearly made a fish, but it said it was a hedgehog. sometimes it feels like the AI randomly spits stuff out. after playing, i tried to wash some of the marker off my hands and after multiple washes with soap it still remains visible. the game is really fun, and i don't want to be rude, but it needs some work. for people playing the game, a tip i have is to draw simple and exaggerated drawings, it doesn't really guess detailed drawings. it's really fun though!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally I get rewarded for being bad at drawing

Among my friends there has always been clear winners & losers when it comes to Pictionary game nights. This version evens that playing field, since the AI strikes a good balance between "too good" or "too bad" drawings. We had a lot of fun betting against each other.

Tons of fun, but not perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a ton of fun playing this one, but there were a few things that we did not love. Great fun with family, wife and kids played numerous games and really had some much needed family time. The interaction with the phone and A.I. definitely helps these kids from this generation to keep focused.
This is also a different way than the normal Pictionary, you are not guessing the drawing, you are guessing if the A.I. will guess the drawing.
First thing we noticed is the lack of physical instructions. Save the trees? Sure, but just print it on the inside of the box then. The video instructions were ok, but had to stop and rewatch them again. The lack of an eraser for the dry erase markers was disappointing as well. Especially after your child tries to use their hand, and the marker stains their hands. Yikes.
Another thing we thought was a little off, was when the A.I.I guesses incorrectly, you can have them guess again, but they will sometimes repeat the previously failed guess. The cap on the pens are a little misleading for kids as well (you'll understand when you purchase the product).
Finally, I understand we are early in the world of A.I., but the image they scan sometimes gets very distorted, which can alter it to where the A.I. can not correctly guess the drawing.
Overall we had a blast with this game and will be bringing it with us to Thanksgiving for some after dinner family fun.

Fun twist on Pictionary

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game was a really fun twist on the traditional Pictionary. Easy instructions with options to add challenges. I will say that the scanning of pictures is a bit flawed and cannot capture smaller details like a face even after multiple scans. And sometimes the AI guesses the most random guesses on good drawings. No less the game is fun and recommend giving it a try. Quality of pieces and game are great good family game night game!
I would recommend this to a friend!
