Broken won’t turn on any more

I have had this dispenser since may 2022. About 7 months. Won’t charge any more or turn on. It’s really had to contact support to get this handled. Very frustrating since these products are supposed to be high end.

I am only giving this a 3 bc it's a REPLACEMENT. the one we had broke after warranty. This is literally the sixth one as they have replaced the others under warranty. If they break again, we will not repurchase as they are just to expensive to break after 2 years. However, the product works well and battery lasts a long time...until it dies.

It's fine in the function that is manufactured for and I really like that I can recharge it instead of creating waste with batteries. Even the renewable batteries are a pain which is yet another reason why I selected this product. The downside is the price for the size of the soap capacity and that you seem to have to use a really watery soap. Another trap to get you to buy simplehuman.

Is this a joke?

The sensor is wack. I'll walk into the room and this thing goes off. Light turns on, it goes off. Sometimes it just starts spewing soap for no reason. It has wasted so much soap I have to turn it off and leave it off until I need to wash my hands. Then I immediately turn it back off. What a terrible design and waste of money.

We love Simplehuman products and this soap pump is a winner. It is sleek and beautiful and it works flawlessly. The soap dispenses perfectly in either a small amount or a larger amount depending on how you position your hand. The USB charging is so incredibly convenient - it makes it much easier than the battery-operated units of former days. The brushed stainless seamlessly blends with our decor in the bath and kitchen. LOVE this soap pump!
