I’ve had several of these and am hoping these new ones have better batteries. My older ones won’t charge and you can’t get into them to change the battery.
I have been a huge fan of Simple Human products - we have an older soap dispenser that is battery operated and i thought a new one that was rechargeable would be wonderful. I do love the design of this new model, it is sleeker and more attractive. The rechargeable aspect is also great. The amount of soap that it dispenses, even when moving your hand so that it is at the top is way too much. I am using another brand of soap, not the Simple Human one, but it should work properly for ALL liquid soaps. The older model had a +/- button to lower the amount of soap and that seems much more effective than the new method. Disappointed i spent so much money on this to now be wasting soap.
This is my 3rd Simple Human liquid hand soap pump dispenser. Over the past 10 years. The jury is still out on my satisfaction with the product until it’s been used over the next few years. While I like the convenience and ease of a touchless dispenser , the design and integrity of the pump performance over time has been disappointing. for one this expensive. It seems to perform poorly right after the warranty runs out. So we’ll see. Then maybe I can give it 5 stars.
I’ve had one of these before dispensing dish soap and I loved it. It only lasted a year though before it wouldn’t charge anymore. No other dispenser compares so that’s why I bought another one. It keeps all the water mess in the sink to a minimum. It’s been a couple weeks and it’s still ok. The new charger seems to have a stronger magnet so hopefully it doesn’t stop charging.
