I loved my rechargeable liquid sensor pump so much in the kitchen that I bought a second one for my bathroom. It also turned out to be the perfect 70th birthday present for my minimalist friend, who "doesn't need anything."
When I first saw this new pump which came in color options and used a plug to charge it instead of batteries. I have an older pump version that needs four AA batteries that need to be changed monthly. This new one would have been great if more than a drop came out and then you wait 30-50 seconds for the next drop. Sorry but just sent it back today via FedEx.
I am pleased with the replacement Pumps I recieved. I had the cartridge pumps but unfortunately after refilling with Simple Human refill the pump never worked correctly. I decided to replace them under warranty with the regular non cartridge and am very pleased. Great customer service.
Bought 2 of these to substitute the foaming sensor pumps I had, which never worked perfectly. Only design flaw in this one is that it doesn't allow for draining/cleaning if you decide to change liquid.
I really wish I had gone with my gut and bought the original sensor pump. The sticker showing where to put your hand to regulate the amount of soap that dispenses not only encourages people to touch the pump, but it never works! We have wasted sooo much soap due it pouring out like lava. I hate this product. The only nice thing is the fact that it's rechargeable and filling it is neater. I don't even care for how it looks. I would swap the two I bought for an original if I could. Removing the ability to manually regulate the amount of soap was a huge mistake, in my opinion.
