This new version does not change the amount discharged, no matter where I put my hand. Also, there is no way to know when you need to refill, whereas the former version had a window on the back.
The rechargeable pump dispensed too much soap and we returned. Return was easy. Had a battery operated simplehuman sensor pump for years. Liked the ability to adjust the amount of soap dispensed and being able to see the level of soap in the dispenser.
I got these because when people come to my house they would rather not touch a bottle with the soap in it so during this time and after Covid I think they’re going to be great friends since if I’m working in the kitchen and if my hands are greasy I can just stick my hands under the soap and I don’t have to worry about getting anything else dirty. I bought three one for each bathroom and one for the kitchen. They are color coordinated. They work well. The soaps that are made by Simple Human are quite nice. They’re extremely concentrated and they leave your hands feeling soft.
I've had at least 8 of these pumps. I love the way they work. Only problem is that they don't last very long. Even with a recharge they brake down in 6 months or so.
used with hand sanitizer after seeing this use case at my hairdresser. The hand sanitizer comes out incredibly fast and sprays all directions. This is not the correct use for this product however if anyone else wants to use this for hand sanitizer I would not recommend. Otherwise I love my foam sensor pump and highly recommend that!
