Very nice but breaks easily

The trash can itself is amazing but the insert inside breaks off easily ( within 2 weeks ) and now every back we put inside rips and gets stuck when you try to take it out. Would not buy again and honestly want a refund.

Love my simplehuman sensor can

I had to wait to get the stainless steel, since it was on back order. What I like about it is that it is not battery operated. You plug it in and never have to worry about replacing batteries. It's perfect when you are cooking and you are holding something in your hand, you just say, "open can". Of course you can wave your hand and it will open, but I find myself saying "open can" most of the time. The 58L can is larger than most cans that take kitchen trash bags. I use the simplehuman trash liners, which I love. Better to buy in bulk, it's cheaper. You can't go wrong buying this trash can.

Nice large can - aesthetically, I love the white version of this can in my white kitchen. Pricey - but it Feels very upscale (luxury trash can lol) I do hope this one lasts a little longer than the last one - it got the where it wouldn’t open all the way or stay open when told to. I bought a second one so that should be seen as a good endorsement.

Very Quiet, Very Stealthy!

Got our new 58L Sensor Can sitting in place of a previous sensor can which we now have doing recycle duty. This new black monolith is very quiet, response immediately and looks great in our kitchen.
The only interesting feature is that with a black sensor can, Simplehuman choose to send a gray power plug/cord. Kind of stands out from the wall in appearance. Would have been better to just get a regular black power plug/cord, but it still looks good plugged into the kitchen.

Sensor Trash Can

We had one of these cans for several years and it stopped functioning so I ordered another one. I like the new features that allow me to tell it to close or stay open. Obviously I really like it to make it worth buying a second time.
