I am so I excited about this purchase! The mirror looks great and has been a game changing tool for getting ready in the mornings and for my nighttime preparation before bed. Highly recommend!

I am updating an earlier review that was not positive. I completely revise that review, because customer service has been amazing, and they corrected the problem that I was originally experiencing. This is a beautiful mirror that brightens up everything. I am now thinking about adding an additional simplehuman mirror to my home, because I am so pleased with this one.

Mirror dims and does not stay on

I have written the company with no reply. It is not my style to post a negative review before I try to reach out to the company. But I have. No reply. The small mirror is fabulous, bright, stays on etc. This 8 inch mirror is dim, hard to see, and does not stay on unfortunately. If it worked like its smaller version, would be awesome. Will be returning. So sad.

Large simple human make up mirror

While this a nice mirror, it Did Not meet my expectations and will be returning it. The magnification is not strong enough and the light is very very dim and defeats my objective with this expensive price. The size is great, just wish the magnification was larger and the lighting brighter. I use the travel size and the magnification and lighting are Perfect. Just thought this great size would be perfect and unfortunately it wasn’t. Disappointed with my purchase

This particular mirror features touch-control brightness which allows the user to manually adjust the brightness from 100 lux (dim) to 800 lux which is very bright. Sliding your finger along the touch panel on the edge of the mirror allows every user to find the right brightness level for their purposes.

I am very happy with my purchase of this mirror... The dimmable lighting is awesome and my most favorite part is that it's rechargeable and can be moved around freely without worrying about cords!

Led make up mirror

I bought this on a trip and I love it! After getting it home the light would not stay on so I called company and they immediately sent me a new one no charge and had me send the other one back free of charge. My new works just fine. This is a great make up mirror!!! It is so easy to see in, the light is perfect and it is big enough to see your whole face at once in. Only thing that could be improved on is if they put the sensor at the bottom rather than the top so if you tilt the mirror up it still senses you there. It comes on when you are in front of it and goes off if your not there. It is a fantastic mirror, however its very pricey. I think they could come down some on the price, I hated paying that much but when I found it in Dillards I feel in love. My daughter is a make up queen and she loves and uses mine as well.

I love this mirror. It fits pretty much anywhere, is very pretty and stylish and works wonderfully. It provides great visibility and the natural light is wonderful too. Highly recommend this mirror.

bright light!

My first lighted mirror was defective but after a quick call into the SH call center, they shipped me a new unit and now all works well. The previous unit would turn off after only a few seconds of use (even with my face a few inches from the sensor). I am very happy with the ability to brighten the light and have never seen another brand with the brightness this one has. It is very expensive but I was given it as a birthday gift and so glad it's now working as designed.

After receiving the returned mirror, our engineers tested the product and found that the unit was working within our specified design standards. If the mirror head is angled upward, the sensor may no longer detect the user's presence when they lean inward towards the product. The mirror's light will turn off after 7 seconds if the sensor does not detect something in front of it.
