Love the dimmer

After 5 years my first Simple Human mirror broke and I seriously can't do my makeup without it so I got another one this time in white. This new model has a new dimmer, which is great since I can reduce the brightness or put it all the way up depending on the time. I took off one star because this one doesn't stay on even if I put a clip on the sensor. I usually do that so it doesn't turn off on me in-between makeup application but this one seems to turn off after a while even if I put a clip or a post-it in front of the sensor.

This mirror features an adaptive sensor which identifies surrounding inanimate objects and adjusts the sensors range accordingly. Covering the sensor reduces the range and prevents the light from staying on for prolonged periods of time. We walked the mirrors owner through a quick reset and the product is now working properly.

Mirror replacement

After having to send my first mirror back since it would not work correctly it couldn’t be fixed so they sent me a replacement the first thing my wife saw was a chip in the glass although it works better than the first one did the small chip is aggravating but at least it’s working.

I am updating an earlier review that was not positive. I completely revise that review, because customer service has been amazing, and they corrected the problem that I was originally experiencing. This is a beautiful mirror that brightens up everything. I am now thinking about adding an additional simplehuman mirror to my home, because I am so pleased with this one.

It won’t be the only one you purchase- you will want to get one for family, friends, it is that good. Simple, intuitive, quality durable product, and INCREDIBLE customer service when I had an issue three years after purchase. So just buy one or three. Great money spent.

I love this mirror. It fits pretty much anywhere, is very pretty and stylish and works wonderfully. It provides great visibility and the natural light is wonderful too. Highly recommend this mirror.
