Nice Concept But . . . . . . . . . .

The lights keep changing modes while I'm using the mirror. I also have to be right on top of the mirror for the light to stay on. I have had this mirror without all the different modes and it lasted me 10 years. SimpleHuman should stick with the simple settings for this mirror.
I love my new mirror. Have been wanting to purchase one for a long time. No cord to deal with except if you are charging it. Love how you can see so clearly to put your make up on. Great product!
I love Simplehuman products. The magnified mirror quality is topnotch. I've owned several over the years because I prefer the mounted style, and due to moving have repurchased them. My new home does not have a place for me to hardwire a mirror and Simplehuman no longer offers the mountable, rechargeable mirror. I purchased the counter-top version and love the mirror, light, and telescoping capability, however, the lightweight, narrow base is extremely disparate. The base needs to be wider and weighted so the mirror doesn't tip as easily.
I purchased the same design years ago and replaced it this year. Pleasantly surprised at how it's improved: better light and light control, seems like I can see better so believe magnification or mirror quality has improved, and the design is a bit sleeker. THANKS
I am very disappointed. My first simplehuman makeup mirror was perfect. The bulb burned out after several years, so I purchased a new one. The worst thing the new one now needs to be charged every week. The original one needed to be charged once about four times a year. Also, the mirror goes brighter and darker without touching it. Seems defective to me.
This mirror is perfect for getting a closer look without the extreme zoom. The lighting is superior to all the other mirrors out there, and it has 2 color choices with adjustable brightness. If only this mirror (5x zoom) came in a travel size, too!
