Sleek design and perfect for recycling

I looked for months for the perfect trash can that would fit our needs for both trash and recycling. Simplehuman was by far the best looking with its sleek modern design. Also love the simplicity of ordering on the app!

I’m in love with a trash can

I don’t know if this trash can/recycle bin/compost bin is as amazing as I think or I’ve gotten old. But I find myself thinking about it way too often and I love trash can.

Most luxurious, beautiful trash can

Having this trash can makes me feel wealthy! It is so beautiful that we hung a piece of art above it. The openings for the trash and recycling are smaller than I am used to, so I have to be careful when emptying a dustbin, but it is well worth it to be able to have both trash and recycling in one relatively small footprint. I can’t imagine a more perfect looking or functioning trash can at any price!

I do like the split

I do like the split design overall and the removable recycling bucket is helpful, but the can sticks out about 3 inches more than necessary in order to accommodate storage for the also unnecessary plastic bags you can buy especially to fit the garbage side of the bin. Had I realized the design I probably would have avoided buying it, but it is tolerable enough that I won’t bother to send it back.

Absolutely an upgrade!

I absolutely love this 58L step recycler! Having both trash and recycling in one bin is a life changer. No more throwing recyclables out in the cold garage, having the open the door and letting cold air in. The recycling is now easily accessible. The garbage is smaller than the 55L but it's worth the trade off. I throw out the garbage every 2-3 days and it still doesn't over fill. I love the look of the brushed silver. Very rich and high quality! And the lid opens all the way. I had to upgrade bc the lid only partially opened for my old step can. Glad I did it!
