I love it. I did own the sensor one but those didn't last long the lid stopped working. Very disappointed on that one. Thats why I'm just sticking with the step can now.

Our silver simplehuman recycler broke after 12 years. We replaced a new recycler with black color. We enjoyed the new recycler and hope it will last another 12 years.

I absolutely love it! Consolidating

I absolutely love it! Consolidating trash and recycle into one container makes so much sense. Plenty of room for a one-person household for a week and perhaps two weeks in each side. Very happy. Also like the bag storage pocket on the trash side. Again makes sense.

Should’ve bought this trash can first. I went with a cheaper option and it broke after a year and half. This is quality. It’s what I should’ve gotten in the first place. Totally worth it. Solid construction, slow close lid, easy to change the bag with the bag dispenser attachment.
